Founder's Church, Washington, DC (mid-June)

I haven't been past this "Church" in several months. They've now got red, white and blue striped bunting draped from the building, just above the large front porch.

It may have been hung up for a while now and perhaps I hadn't noticed, but my guess is that this was put up because the Fourth of July is coming to town and perhaps, given that there's always an influx of tourists at this time of year, they're hoping that tourists will drop in, thinking that there's some type of Fourth-of-July-related celebration going on.
