My only gripe would be the forum font. I think Verdana would be better and easier on the eye. It's a little thicker and easier to see.
I second that.. 8)

I third that----the type is too tiny for me.

Thanks for all you're doing, Andreas---but Please make the font a bit bigger, or darker

here is darker

here's large and dark

Ok, the last is too large, but the earlier one I like a bunch.

And you?

Sorry. I was trying different font sizes and pressed submit instead of preview.

Now I don't see a way to delete the post, so I guess I'll go ahead with it.

When you make the size of the font in your post you can customize the size as well as use the preset sizes.

For this version the number you enter for the size is expressed as a percentage of the base size which is 100 or 100 percent. On the beginning of the statement you put square brackets [] with 'size=(a number)' inside and at the end of the statement you put square brackets [] with '/size' inside.

I tried 10 percent increments:

This is 100
This is 110
This is 120
This is 130
This is 140
This is 150

It looks like this size (120) might be a bit more comfortable to read than the default.

Another thing you can do, Tory, with most browsers is zoom in. With a PC you press the Ctrl key at the lower left of the key board and while holding it down press the plus sign. You don't need to press the shift key for this. You can increase the size eight times. To decrease it you press the Ctrl key and the minus key and to return it to the default size you press the Ctrl key and zero (0).

Hey ++++++THANKS Wieber! (did it work?)

Ok, try again: Now is it bigger? wow! This is HUGE! Do you see it
this big? Ok, no--that's just for me to view things, but that helps, too.
Thank you :D

Tory, try this one.

Right click on it and click on "Save Image As..."

Then save it on your hard drive.

After that you should be able to make it your avatar.

I sized it to 100 x 100 pixels and it's just over 7 kb, so it should work.

If you want a different picture than that, Tory, let me know and if I can I'll do what I can to set it up for you.

Andreas, thank-you so much for fixing up the board and opening registrations again.

Emma will be so pleased. She was getting so overwhelmed she was wanting to quit!

Seriously, though, this board has and will play an important role in getting people informed. And it will come alive again now that new people can post here.

So far everything seems to be working fine.

I checked that out on some old posts, prior to the upgrade, containing links to other threads and it doesn't seen to be a problem.

Emma has already turned the entire esmb over to someone else last I heard and saw. The board is now half of what it was.

I am not able to log on to esmb any more.
It's OK by me. The board has turned into FZ and Porn. ( not to mention an endless ego trip thread).

One reason I'm really glad to see this place open to new people is there's nowhere else like it. Newly-out Scientologists had only a couple options: Marty's, which keeps you in Scientology; WWP, which gets a little rough; and ESMB, which is Freezone-heavy. If someone is completely angry and fed up, they need to know being completely, COMPLETELY OUT of Scientology is a viable option. People have done it and are living good lives now, without the tech. Now these people have this place again.
