The episode ended with the great news that Tanja is overdue in having her baby and it is to come at any time.

Awwwww, this is such a great story. I believe Marc and Claire helped her get out. The story is also told near the end of Janet Reitman's book, Inside Scientology.

How can anyone hear this type of thing and not think, Run Away!? People are going to remember this, and put it together that Katie Holmes didn't want to be married to a guy whose religion did this.

This is excellent news coverage, especially for its detail. I had heard about the Victoria's Secret trick from friends a while back and this is the actual couple that used it! Unfortunately it may not work any more now that Int Base Security probably knows about it. Thanks for posting this, Smurf! This news piece is not getting enough attention imo because it's being overshadowed by the TomKat divorce news.

It's kind of a chicken vs. egg situation because the TomKat situation actually provided the "news hook" for this piece, which had pretty much been hanging around for a year or so before ABC got around to airing it now,finally considering it relevant due to current circumstances.

Good point, Marcab! I got caught up last night on all the recent TomKat and Alex Jentzsch news on the You-Tubes. Wow! It took me a couple of hours to get through it all. I came across the Stefan and Tanya Castle story there, then came here to make sure it was posted. Millions of new people have now been exposed to the evils of scientology in the mainstream media. Will Dave announce at the next big scilon event how OSA's stats have CRASHED and are at an all-time LOW?

Also, I got an email from a family member who said they read about Alex's death at www.christianpost.com

Christian post has done a whole series on the subject lately. My family doesn't usually bring up the subject of scientology to me so this family member asking me about this was unusual. It's something they all want to forget about (all those years one of their favorite children was estranged from them). Now it'll be something to talk about next time we all get together.

Last night I fantasized about Heber Jentzcsh faking a heart attack while he was delivering Alex's eulogy, someone in the audience calling 911, then while he's in the ambulance, he can let the attendants know he wishes to escape all the abuse he's been under. I prayed that I'd wake up this morning and read the headline. Oh well, my fantasy did not come true.

The Stefan and Tanya castle story is important because it illustrates so well just what it takes to escape scientology's Int Base and the continuous abuse its prisoners face at the hand of Dave Miscavage. I hope more people see this piece. Unfortunately it was local news. I hope a national organization picks it up.
