Tom Cruise's son Conner is starring in a remake of the movie "Red Dawn" which was not that great the first time around. Why remake it???

FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/red-dawn-trailer-connor-cruise-chris-hemsworth-josh-hutcherson-360909

The movie was shot in 2009 but not released. Oh that's not a good sign!

It's all about Connor!

The only picture I ever recall of Tom Cruise with Bella was him on an escalator sort of play "kicking" her in the back and she was crying. In fact if you Google "Tom Cruise and Bella" you get a whole lot of Tom Cruise and Suri. Why didn't the selfish warped little shithead and his twisted shitty Cult leave Bella alone to enjoy a loving relationship with Nicole?

Nowadays she looks overweight and miserable. Well done Scientology!

It's interesting that as Tom does any every-other-weekend-magical-adventure with Suri, Tom is NOT there for his teenage son Connor, 17. We all know teenage sons need some boundaries and at least one alert parent. Connor's aunt is not sufficient.
Bella has moved in with her boyfriend Eddie Frencher, so she can find her own way now. Although Kirstie Alley's weight is relevant since she's running a diet business, Bella's weight is her own business. We want Bella to feel welcome if she visits here.

Tom Cruise spends pleanty of time with Connor and always had. Bella not so much. To say Bella has moved in with her boyfriend so can find her own way now is, in my mind, incredibly cold and unfeeling. Girls need their mother too and I don't believe Cruise's sister provided the love and support daughters need from their mother.

Bella is overweight and has been for some time - to me that suggests she is unhappy and using food as a comfort. I'm entitled to express that opinion here and I think it's relevant. She was separated from her mother and I believe that has had a damaging on her development.

I'm not going to withhold my opinions on a subject because that person may visit this site and be offended.

Let me clarify; Bella is at least not in the headquarters (Tom Cruise's house) of the miniature-personality-cult that revolves around Scientology-superstar Tom Cruise. I agree that Bella was deprived of her own mother, and taught Nicole was an SP, and that was cruel. I don't know if Tom was a neglectful father to Bella; he was gone a lot doing movies and once Katie and especially Suri came along, I bet both Bella and Connor saw little of their father.
At least Bella can call her mother (tho she may want to use a disposable phone in case TC's staff tracks her calls) and come and go as she pleases. I think it's a healthy thing for her to have her own place with Eddie; maybe the two of them will quietly quit CoS.
There are plenty of overweight young adults who were lovingly raised by both parents, so an armchair diagnosis of Bella as overeating to compensate is unprovable. It unnecessarily criticizes Bella, using her body to citicize Tom. There is plenty to criticize about Tom without using Bella who has never shilled for Scientology herself.

No! This is not an "armchair diagnosis" - I work with "troubled" children EVERY DAY - 7 DAYS A WEEK - 365 days a year! It's not something you can turn off at the holidays!

"I think it's a healthy thing for her to have her own place with Eddie..." - Bella is 19, NINETEEN, N-I-N-E-T-E-E-N - A TEENAGER and she's living with her "boyfriend"!!!! She comes from a wealthy family and she's living with her boyfriend at 19! Seriously, that does not set off a spark in your brain?!

When is the last time you saw a photo of Cruise with his arm around Bella, or supporting Bella or attending an event with Bella AND HER MOTHER NICOLE?! Do the press not pick up on this? IT AMAZES me that these CHILDREN have been deprived of contact with their mother (because of this shitty CULT) and the press ignore it!

Well I don't.

Bella needs her mother, Nicole and always has - this story to be continued.........

Thanks for leaving her weight out of the last post. Tom made his own mother divorce her 2nd husband, quit a Catholic Church, and move to be with him. Katie had to put her foot down to keep one sister from living in the same house with her and Tom. Two sisters are multiple divorcees while devoted to Tom, and everyone and their kids are enmeshed in Scientology.
Mike Doven, a former assistant to Tom, spied on Tom and reported to Miscavige. When in Tom's house, Doven likely kept an eye on Tom's family including Bella. Imagine a house full of devoted Tom-Scientologists where you can't call your Mom or utter a peep against, say Miscavige, without a ton of bricks descending.
Tom combines being a control freak with dogmatic over-permissiveness. He let Suri have ice cream for dinner and stay up all night watching Scientology-kid-videos, since Suri is an adult in a child's body. Where did Bella fit in when Suri ran loose in the house as the spoiled princess/infant, sucking on a baby bottle, wearing high heels and lipstick? Tom's house was not a great environment for a young woman trying to find her own strengths and cut the apron strings to Super-Daddy. I agree that 19 is young to move out and live together, but many people that age do that. I'd guess that Tom is giving Bella an allowance; I wish she'd ask Tom to help with tuition at a local college. I feel some pity for Bella, her unmet needs and her likely poor preparation for the real world, and I hope she reunites with her mother.

When I was 19 I tried Transcendental Meditation, alpha-wave meditation, Kundalini Yoga (the ones with the turbans), dream therapy, Alexander Technique, and more. I was reading The Teachings of Don Juan, Be Here Now, the Bhagavadh Gita, the Upanishads, and The Sacred and the Profane. I spent months studying Tenrikyo, a popular form of esoteric Buddhism involving singing, drums and cymbals. It was a year of great personal growth for me, in college. If I had been living in my parents' house instead of at college I'd have had to conceal most of this from my Christian mother. Bella in Tom Cruise's house would have an even harder time exploring other spiritual paths.

Bella & Conor's childhood development was probably warped by the fact that their father was constantly away from their for long periods of time due to his film shooting schedule on distant locations. It seems, however, and photos over the years, show that he tried to be a responsible father despite the demands of his movie career. He had his sisters assist in taking care of them & home schooling them when he was away.

I don't know the relationship Bella has with Nicole. In some reports, Nicole, allegedly claimed, the kids turned against her to stay with their father, then there were reports that Bella felt neglected & wanted to go live with Nicole. I agree that Bella's weight gain probably had alot to do with her emotional issues with her parents, and perhaps, the feeling she felt neglected.

Her emotional state could have been hurt. too, when Tom married Katie, and when they had Suri. The "evil stepmother" syndrome happens alot when a remarriage takes place, and less time & focus is spent with a dependent child. Bella could have suffered some jealousy when Suri was born, because Tom spent more time doting on her and less on Bella who was in her teens.

I remember all the media stories that came after Tom & Nicole's divorce & how she allowed Tom to take primary custody of the kids. In child custody cases, the mother usually is granted primary custody. Nicole did not want it & was focused on her movie career. I think with Bella, the daughter in the relationship, this may have led to feelings of abandonment. But, I'm speculating.

The movie might be a dud, but I do not understand why some people seem to gloat about this. Connor is a second-generation Scientologist, it is not his fault that his crazy father introduced him to the cult.

Red Dawn trailer shows Connor at the time of 1:35 and after, and the credits name him with his photo at the end. He looks convincing and not a spoiled Hollywood kid playing soldier.
