Also, I thought Astra had agreed not to speak out any more so she could re-connect with her family. Does anyone know if that part of the story is posted anywhere? Or do I have her confused with someone else?

I had Astra confused with Kendra. Astra still speaking out- Kendra not.

Apparently Kendra decided to comply with the order to stop speaking critically about scientology in exchange for her parents having a relationship with her once again- essentially a reversal of the disconnection. As long as Kendra spoke out, her parents would not speak to her. I can understand her choice. It's just too bad that scientology forces people to make such choices.

Scientology: you must choose between free speech and personal freedom/integrity, or your parents, whom we really own.
