That wasn't the Oprah show, it was the Access Hollywood show on Thursday, "Man on a Mission," an entire one-half hour of Cruise with Billy Bush.

It's on this forum here, also (slightly different), under this Topic, under the thread about Nicole, marriage -- you'll see my name as the last who posted there, if you're interested.

de nada

I think TC gets nuttier every time we see him and one of these days something -- either his OT-8 auditing or some smart-ass journalist -- will push him over the edge into a major meltdown.

I would feel sorry for him except that his I'm-too-good-for-my-shorts attitude is reeaaallly getting on my nerves!

I still think that what you said seems to explain Cruise's silly behavior - for whatever TV show he is on.

I actually had not thought of it until you brought this up. I thought that you had a good point.

HAHA!! That was funny! Thank you for the laugh. Personally, I am sick of celebrities and all their fake bullshit. This was a treat to see! TC has no idea what the CofS is doing to the regular folk. :violent:

I don't know why everyone is making such a fuss over the age difference between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Cruise is hardly the first Hollywood actor to get invloved with a signicantly younger woman (16 years).

Examples that immediately come to mind are

Michael Douglas/Catherine Zeta Jones: 25 years
Cary Grant/Diane Cannon: 33 years!!!

I have no problem with the age difference. My husband is younger than me. So much so that last time we went through customs the agent was quite confused, it was hilarious!

Now, the one month courtship is a bit much, IMO.

The over the top manic behaviour is definitely worrisome.

Would you invest your money in someone who appears to be manifesting an impending meltdown?

I would sit it out, personally, and invest in other projects until Tom Cruise shows his true colors.

Maybe that is what he is doing now?

It was obviously a clear breaking point in his career, where he went from "Universally Beloved Leading Man" to "Aging Movie Star Growing Weirder With Time." See also: Mel Gibson, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, et al.

The article recaps Tom's weirdness highlights of the past seven years.
