Gold Base vulnerable to floods, like when they damaged levee

Post by Don Carlo » Thu Dec 04, 2014 5:16 pm

Mud slides at 20500 Gilman Springs Road, which is the Golden Era Golf Course, owned by CoS. Int Base is at 19625 Gilman Springs Road. That's about 1 mile away, says Google Maps, so Int Base must also be affected by rain/mud damage, as well as the road being closed.

In 1990 Sea Org workers had to work frantically to remove a mudslide.* Now they're older and more beaten-down. Some of the young and fit have blown. I don't wish misfortune on them. I just want authorities to know there might be forced labor happening in dangerous conditions.

14 Rescued After Flash Flood Washes Out Road in Riverside County, Dec. 4, 2014, Channel 4 NBC news,
http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local ... 24251.html

* Andrew Morton’s Tom Cruise book, "In August 1990...hundreds of Sea Org disciples faced the wrath of their leader after the actor’s VIP bungalow at Gold Base was badly damaged in a mudslide caused by heavy rains. It was an act of God, but as Scientologists don’t believe in God, David Miscavige blamed the Sea Org for not having proper flood procedures in place. He placed hundreds of Sea Org disciples in a severe ethics condition of “Confusion” as punishment, with gangs of Scientologists working around the clock to repair the damage."

If you want to look today at how the mud has affected 19625 Gilman Springs Rd, San Jacinto, you should drive in from the north, since the car-burying mudslide happened south, next to Golden Era Golf Course. If you have a megaphone*, you might reach the ears of Sea Org workers slaving away on mud cleanup. Tell them if their passport is locked up, you can take them to the Los Angeles consulate** and get them a new passport. If the megaphone drives them inside, at least they get a break.

Don't visit alone. If you have a relative in there, you can tell any road-block cop that the relative isn't answering calls and you just want to walk to the gate and see if your relative is okay. Pester the guy at the gate to confirm your relative is okay.

Wear a bathing suit under your pants. Bring big plastic bags to throw muddy boots and pants into, a change of shoes and clothes, plus towels and clean-up water. Keep your camera/phone in a ziplock bag or with a loop around your wrist. If the mud is bad enough to trip you, wear gloves that you can take off to work the camera. If it's raining lightly, a wide-brim hat can protect your camera as you use it.

Remember you and your license plate will be filmed by them. Angry Gay Pope got legally attacked for stepping on their pansies, so watch where you walk and where you park your car, even if everything is mud-covered.

The Underground Bunker reported on the mudslide at http://tonyortega.org/2014/12/05/steve- ... more-18430

Reader comments:

DamOTclese2 noted Int Base was having sewage problems. Sewage-polluted mud is a hazard to Sea Org workers, tow truck operators, rescue teams, and anyone who has to step in the mud.

Flyonthewall linked to a Channel 7 ABC News video, which shows Jeff Hawkins' ex-wife still in Sea Org, Cathy Fraser, saying the mudflow was "controlled chaos," at http://abc7.com/weather/rain-causes-flo ... ed/421751/

nottrue mocked Cathy for the "seen every inch" interview* with Anderson Cooper:
Image

Cathy at least was willing to appear before the cameras, unlike Karin Pouw or David Miscavige. Media, interview her again! And then Jeff Hawkins, for "both sides."

If Miscavige makes Diana Hubbard, Jenny Linsom, Cathy Fraser, and over-65-year-olds shovel mud where drones or planes can see them, he'll look like a slavemaster, and some might escape. Maybe he'll sell the whole place and split the inmates among Los Angeles and the other remote locations - Shelly could get some company!

It looks like the mud went over the top of the fences. Just saying.

"In San Jacinto, county crews were making good progress on Gilman Springs Road, but the road that cuts through the sprawling complex of buildings owned by the Church of Scientology was still closed." from CBS News Los Angeles: Residents Of Hemet, San Jacinto Still Cleaning Up From Flooding, http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2014/12/ ... -flooding/ (There's a video but it's the same words as the written article, and no video of Int Base).

Scientific American:
In 1861 an atmospheric river that brought storms for 43 days turned California’s Central Valley into an inland sea 300 miles long and 20 miles wide. Thousands of people died, 800,000 cattle drowned and the state went bankrupt.
...Geologic core samples show that extreme floods like the one in 1861 have happened in California about every 200 years, since the year 200 A.D.

It's been 163 years since 1861.

Re-post of Sea Horse summarizing how, with the 1980 heavy rain, the Int Base workers covertly made a hole in the San Jacinto levee on the opposite side from Int Base, so the excess water flooded the city of Hemet instead of Int Base.

THE INSIDE STORY

viewtopic.php?t=26098&postorder=asc&hig ... lood+hemet
Little Bear Victor wrote:It was 1980. We were at the international base in Hemet California and we had recently completed building a studio for making training films. It was considered that the training films could make the difference in whether the group would "save the planet" or not. With no time to waste, we had worked day and night to build the studio to shoot the films in.

That winter there was a lot of snow in the mountains. A large storm came, dropping heavy rain for days. At the same time the temperature rose, causing the snow in the mountains to melt. There is a large river bed running through the valley that divides the international base from the city of Hemet and the farms and properties that surround it. In the summer the river bed is bone dry, now it was a raging river about 75 yards across and a few feet deep and it was threatening to break through its banks.

The Army Corp of Engineers brought in huge bulldozers to built up the banks to prevent the river from flooding the city of Hemet. On our side, we had a couple small pieces of equipment and about 60 male staff with shovels desperately working through the day and into the night to prevent the river from breaking through as it would flood our buildings including our new studio.

During the night, as it continued to rain heavily, it became obvious that despite our efforts, the bank on our side would give out within minutes. One of our most senior staff members (who, by the way, had joined the Business Association and other groups in Hemet as a PR function) went around to the other side of the river and covertly popped a hole through the river bed. The river broke through and flooded out the city of Hemet and the surrounding area causing MAJOR damage. The Army Corp of Engineers had two bulldozers buried so deep in mud they couldn't dig them out until the summer. Downtown Hemet had a foot of water and mud wash through its buildings and shops. Acres and acres of farm land was flooded and covered with silt.

Our little team of "flood-fighters" never brought up what had happened. We had zero remorse.

There is a viewpoint that really needs to be understood. The "true believer" is totally convinced that the eventual survival of everyone on the planet is dependent upon the survival of their cult and its goal. This is true even if others need to be harmed as they think that in future lives those who were hurt will "benefit in the long run".

Taken to its extreme, a "true believer" would choose the survival of their own cult and its goals over the survival of all other life on the planet.

Map showing location of 1980 levee breach (large red circular marker) allegedly caused by Int Base workers. The red markers are the levee, the "Bautista Flood Channel." At the top left-of-center are the almost-unreadable words "Gilman Hot Springs" which is the same spot as Int Base. The blue markers show the two pre-levee riverbeds for Bautista Creek and Western Creek, where the flood waters naturally flooded into. THANK YOU LRH! The reason he bought the property so cheap is that it is constantly in danger of being destroyed by floods, landslides, earthquakes and liquefaction.

The groundwater contaminated by sewage, however, is entirely the cult's doing.

Massive El Niño flooding predicted - will it hit Gold Base?

Post by Don Carlo » Sat Dec 12, 2015 4:45 am

The City of Hemet should be alert if the levee starts to overflow from El Niño heavy rains. Don't let Scientology workers secretly break the levee to save their own property, while drowning the city, again. See above confession, with map, of the 1980 wrongdoing.
