An unworthy cause
The Gazette April 5, 2012 " Re: "Anonymous unmasked" (Gazette, April 31).
It is contemptuous to violate the law and the rights of others "for a good cause" or in the guise of freedom of speech.
As a "target" of Anonymous, we observed first-hand their wild antics like simulating sexual acts on the sidewalks for all to see and their "protests" with messages of intolerance and hatred against our religious beliefs and our members.
A series of acts of vandalism and intimidation took place during the same period: windows repeatedly broken, hate mail and a large number of obscene phone calls, including a few bomb threats.
In short, an array of antisocial actions committed anonymously, in the name of impunity, which are not worthy of praise but rather the mark of incivility and hooliganism.

Love this hypocritical bit:

Hmm, the cult of scientology never does precisely that at all because, apparently, they say they are a church of a religion and religions are nice by default, aren't they? Look, they even have a churchy cross so they must like do all that jesus stuff. ....wait, what?... they don't?.... you mean they are a greedy cult that scams and abuses its members and critics whilst claiming to the world, in shiny brochures and DVDs, that they do good things? It's a wonder some people don't protest them with vigor....oh wait...they do.
