Since he never actually received the Purple Heart (military wounded in action), maybe El Ron shuld be awarded the "Black Heart Medal"?

It's very disappointing that the military can't/won't say jack about Hubbard, given he's made such a career out of his hero status, to the point of near death incidents. What's written by the cult, yes, I'm going to say cult, about him, makes him seem normal; he was anything But normal (on any spectrum).

This man was also evil, and there is no space for empathy for his "charisma," his "genius," (God! what crap), or any other compliment the Hubbardites cling to.

I "get it," I really get where M&M seem to be coming from; what's stunning is how flattened to the board they seem to be. I respect their feelings, and hope a terrible them and us situation doesn't emerge because it would serve corporate Scientology so well and it doesn't have to happen if the pressure is kept up like it has been so far.

How do people who are "in" explain this to themselves? This reminds me of "The Basics". "Whoops! The books had major editing errors including chapters that were out of order for 50 years!" How do people who are 'in" explain that Hubbard (the ultimate O.T.) never even noticed?

Are there actual recordings or writings in which Hubbard himself makes these military claims? If not, and if Scientologists blame someone besides Hubbard for propagating these lies, how do they explain why Hubbard let the lies stand?

Nelson was prosecuted under the Stolen Valor Act, which makes it a misdemeanor to wear the fake medals. He pleaded guilty in December.

A judge sentenced Nelson on Monday to a year of probation in addition to mental health treatment.

And Hubturd made MILLIONS using his lie! Would that we could turn back time, eh?
