Philanthropic Postcard Company: Donates Its Services to 'Say No To Drugs'
Inc 500 Postcard Company donates its postcards and mailing services to help spread the message that drugs are not for kids.

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) December 26, 2005 -- Despite handling the direct mailing needs of hundreds of companies nationwide, Joy Gendusa, CEO of PostcardMania, set up a division within her company with the sole purpose of handling pro-bono work for non-profit organizations - the only stipulation being that these organizations have the purpose of assisting mankind to improve his lot and make the world a better place. In sync with this, PostcardMania donated the design, printing and mailing of 12,000 postcards to promote the 17th Annual 'Say No To Drugs' Holiday Classic 5K and 10K in Downtown Clearwater. The result – highest ever number of registered runners and the message disseminated to thousands that living a drug-free life is rewarding.

With over 100 races in the Tampa Bay area, the 'Say No To Drugs' Holiday Classic ranks amongst the top in drawing elite athletes. Tampa Bay residents have been participating in the race for 17 years calling it one of the best races to go to due to the spectacular awards breakfast where community volunteers make fresh from scratch, homemade pancakes from spelt berries donated by Nature's Food Patch.

Starbucks Coffee was also a sponsor of the race, making its location in Downtown Clearwater the last point of pre-registration the night before the race every year.

"It's one of the best runs in the area and the breakfast is great!" exclaimed Paul McPartland, "This year the beautiful old Hotel and fine dining room made it even better. I know I speak for many runners when I say a special "thanks" to all who helped put the event on."

About Say No To Drugs Holiday Classic:
The 'Say No To Drugs' Holiday Classic Race (www.saynotodrugs.com) was started in 1988 by world-class runner and Scientologist Sandra Johnson, who was the captain of the Dianetics Running Team at the time. She got her inspiration by humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard (www.lronhubbard.org) who wrote extensively on the subject of drugs and developed an extremely effective drug rehabilitation method which is currently in use all over the world. The race advocates healthy and drug-free living and supports many organizations with proceeds from the race such as the Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Drug Free Marshals and the most effective drug rehabilitation organization in the world, Narconon.

ABOUT MYSELF

Hello, my name is Karla Jo Helms, and here is a little bit about myself:      I have exceptionally good relationship now with my family (which wasn't good before I got into Scientology due to my constant drug use and irresponsibility). I find myself getting more able and competent as I continue to use Scientology to help me better conditions in my life.

MY SUCCESS IN SCIENTOLOGY

I'm a 32 year old Practice manager of a successful Optometric Practice. I got into Scientology 8 years ago when looking for a way to get off drugs. I found the Narconon Program and in 1 month time I was off drugs, happy again and had a whole new lease on life. I decided to do more Scientology because it had worked so well and my life just kept getting better. I've continued to use Scientology and have never returned back to drugs nor had a desire to. I' have in turn, helped a lot of people get off drugs with Scientology and helped many people improve their lives by using Scientology.
