Narconon Spring Hill, Fla rehab wins only 75,000 in lawsuit

the jury concluded that the County's decision to revoke a special exception permit in 2009 was intentional and, thus, illegal under the Federal Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act--both federal laws prohibit discrimination against individuals based on race, religion, handicap, or gender.

My comment: So if this is religious discrimination, and Narconon accepts this ruling, isn't Narconon saying they're a religion?

I think Hernando County should make out the check, "The religion Narconon Spring Hill." Put an image of the cancelled check for whenever Narconon says it's secular. If Narconon protests, then the question is, wasn't the lawsuit about religious discrimination?

Even as it finalized the $75,000 settlement over a denied permit, the court won't just allow Narconon Spring Hill to have its expansion, due to a technicality - that it wasn't Narconon that filed for the permit, but its backer Toucan Partners LLC (which has Kurt Feshbach as a key exec*). This should mean that Narconon has to re-apply, and face non-religious reasons for refusing the permit, plus negative publicity.
