I am not surprised... I lived for ten years in OK. I am a PhD chemical engineer making big bucks in those ten years in a small town in northern OK working for what is now a major petroleum company. Don't believe for a second that OK is comprised of "Okies". Nothing could be further from the truth.

On the other hand, the state government is renowned for being ineffectual dunderheads. Scientology just might pull off a slap on the wrist with Narconon Arrowhead. The state didn't learn from the disaster at Narconon Chilloco, apparently, and might be doing the same with Narconon Arrowhead. Narconon Arrowhead, with all of their debacles, is not yet significantly on their radar as toxic to the public. The state health department appears to be unable to make the connections between Narconons Chilloco and Arrowhead. ...or they are purposely ignoring what is right before their eyes. Arrowhead must be peremptorily shut down, permanently.

In any other state the entirety of Narconons would be shut down instantly, permanently. Well, California excluded. They appear to be completely oblivious to the problems of Narconon in their state.

Readers, please keep in mind that this is not the closing of the main Narconon Arrowhead facility run by Narconon of Oklahoma, Inc. This was a temporary licensed medical detox program run by them at a separate location, that advertised on the internet as "Arrowhead Detox" as if it were not a Narconon program... The main Narconon facility medical director helped run this place. Dr. Gerald D. Wootan, DO, and they used drugs to wean people off opiates, heroin etc. Much against Narconon being a supposed 'drug free' program.

Narconon should never be in the medical detox business. Neither should the Narconon spinoffs Best Drug Rehabilitation and A Forever Recovery and their shared Tranquilty Detox in Battle Creek, MI . People have died or been severely harmed by such

Thanks for the clarification, AnonMary. Your site is much more in-depth than we are.
