Another idea is that you just do the media thread the way you want.
Whatever works for you best is what you should do.
We can have the rolling thread in O&D, and I can make one big clean master list of everything from it all, somewhere else. No pics shown....just a list with everything. I can post any photos/media I see in the respective threads like everyone else, when I have the chance (like last time).
Maybe Andreas or Roan can set me up with a thread/sticky that noone else could post to? That way I could work on it when I can, and not worry about wading through the pages. I don't know if they can set up a thread where just the two of us are able to post, that's an idea too, will have to ask, but want to work out a plan before doing so. If they don't want to do that.......
For now, my thoughts on what you wrote....

I'll have a little think about this maybe some more.
We have time....
We improved over feb10 for march 15, we'll do it again.

My initial thoughts, off the top of my head, are that we split the list geopgraphically to ease workload rather than by type of link.
I have to think it over more too, and I see your point, like enturb does it. As of now, I'm partial to the alphabetical layout by country/city.
I don't how the info flowed for you, so maybe we will have to do it differently from each other.

On March 15 I just about managed ok until the the USA protests started to arrive along with the requirement for me to "go up the wooden hill to bedfordshire" (sleep)

.
LOL
I managed until I had to unexpectedly leave saturday, in the middle of everything for 8 hours. But family and friends first...you know.
I came back to 60 pages of flickr to wade through.
With one list to maintain, instead of searching through many pages to see if I'm duplicating will be so much easier. Viewing it later to edit will be easier for me as well.

So, how about,
1) I start a thread in Media section and you immediately make a post underneath my first post for editing later.
2) I do all GMT+ i.e. Pacific & Europe (as before, news, photos, youtube) in my post.
3) and you do all GMT- i.e. USA, South America in your post.
(so the template you've got now would have to be re-organised and split).
4) Anyone can add further posts to that thread with their latest finds which we edit into our respective posts depending on location.
5) We have the rolling "anything goes" thread in the Opinion & Debate section as usual.
Problems for me with this:
1.) Media section does not get viewed as much as O&D.
I'm still open to doing it that way though. We'd have to both be on and ready to plug in the list at the same time.
2.) and 3.) Now your just being lazy...
Also, I only looked for media when I had a chance and added it for you.
I will not be searching media next time, unless I have the time.
I can't imagine myself doing it that way.
4.) applies no matter how we set it up. Agree?

A variation on the above is for my regions to be on one thread and yours to be in another. The only disadvantage is that it is more clicking around rather than being able to just scroll through the whole world from my post down and through yours.
If I'm reading you right, that means you want me to add media reports to my list? I'm mainly only doing flickr and youtube next time (unless I can get my own spot for a master list) and thought you could do just media/radio, instead of having to try and cross post my photo and youtube lists...as the photo lists always need edited for sets. I was constantly updating those sets, which were not updated by you in yours...understandably...but do you see my point?
I'm still thinking separate threads for us each to maintain would be easier,
and linking to each other.
So let me ask you this.
If we used my list the way it is....in separate or one thread.
Wouldn't it be easier for you to focus on just media reports and radio spots and forget about trying to plug in photos and protest videos?
Without having to regionalize the list?
I can label my videos if they are media to make it easier for you to cross post from my thread.
Think it over!

Can't wait to see what comes in from DC convention.
