I travelled down to Saint Hill, East Grinstead, UK, today, to picket the UK Headquarters of COS, with 6 or 7 other critics.

Nice work, Neil! I thought Saint Hill was supposed to be one of their major outposts. What do you think their new location suggests about their financial status and membership numbers, if anything?

Thanks, TT, the main Saint Hill location is as an Advanced Org, 100? Sea Org staff. But it's based on the outskirts of the town. They are attempting to establish a little mission in the town, to woo in the locals. but their mission is really a pile of builders rubble. they have no money to renovate it.

At the picket loads of passing cars honked their horns and gave us the 'thumbs up'. 95% of the locals -despice- the scieny presence lurking in their midst.

But, but, isn't $cientology the "fastest growing religion on the planet"? Why then, would they not be able to afford to renovate? It must be that they are just too busy with the overwhelming load of new sign-ups... Yeah, THAT'S it! Heh.... ;)

Ten Tigers, Orgs and missions don't get any money from the "mother cache," they have to make that money through their own efforts. The money that they do make though, is heavily taxed by the mother church.

However, they might get loans on rare occasions.

Today, myself and six critics (including fellow Clambaker, Hartley Patterson) picketed the Advanced Organisation, Saint Hill, UK.

Our main body of work took place outside their main gates leading into the sinister compound.

More details to follow.

A pint of Guinness at the pubs? Brilliant!

Bangers & mash, Crikey!

Now that's the way to get a picket off to a smashing start.
