"Seeing this as an urgent need, Scientologist and educator Mary Shuttleworth, in coordination with the Church of Scientology International's Human Rights Office, founded Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) in August 2001. YHRI's mission is to teach youth around the globe about human rights, helping them to become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace."

I posted some protest sound bite for this group, about how CoS itself violates the International Declaration of Human Rights, on the thread
http://ocmb.xenu.net/ocmb/viewtopic.php ... ts&t=13051] East Coast Alert! Scientology at the UN!

Quote:
CoS violates minimum wage laws for its workers

CoS has overworked its child laborers

CoS encourages teen workers to drop out of high school

CoS forces its dissidents into an illegal labor camp

CoS discourages teen workers from going to university

CoS forces its Sea Org women to have abortions.

I'd like to add, "CoS young workers have been sexually abused by older workers."

Have your son read my thread - there's more. Suggest to him he could join Amnesty International, or Mercy Corps, or Oxfam. Anything but a CoS front.
