Happy New Year.

This past year has been a year of changes for me. Both parents passed away. Moved across the country then back in search of the almighty dollar. (jobs! argh!)

And just took my first foray into the FreeZone having received some auditing in it I really liked. (Cost: roughly 10% of what I'd have spent in CofS, probably less if you factor in the frivolous set ups not C/S'd.)

This new year ought to be an interesting and hopefully, easier one.

I hope the wish for the new year is "no non beneficial - non constructive put downs" on this site. I mentioned it on the thread "why hate Scientology". It just takes 1 rotten apple to destroy the barrel. Lets cut that rotten part off those apples as no allowed - to save the rest of us - any comments????

Good thought, Dindy, but don't hold your breath! We continually get new people here, not all of whom have the purest of motives.

WOW..this site is amazing! I'm not a Scientologist. Just a regular person, but Wow! I spent an hour on this site..and have bookmarked it. But you know I went to thier site and I took the supposed "Is your marriage going to survive" test. Turned out to be the same as the "Personality" test. HMMMM..anyway, I'm sure this is common knowledge, but it was really interesting for me. Needless to say, I will come back to visit.

Hi, Bonnie, and welcome!
Yes, you will find many amazing things on this site. It's alot to take in, but it is well worth your time.

Please keep in mind that most of us here do NOT hate scientologists, but rather we want them to be free of the abuses that their own "church" perpetrates on them. Please join us in telling the world about this!

sincerely,
raised 11th

Could I sue Moxon & Kobrin for Vexatious litigation?

The website has no content, no links to it, it is not referenced by any search engine. It is only a six dollar domain name the name of which was suggested by the domain name provider.

Vexatious litigation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Vexatious litigation is that which is brought, regardless of its merits (usually it has none) solely to harass or subdue an adversary. It may take the form of a primary frivolous lawsuit or may be the repetitive, burdensome and unwarranted filing of meritless motions in a matter which is otherwise a meritorious cause of action. It is an abuse of the judicial process and almost always brings down sanctions on the offender.

Repeated and severe instances by a single lawyer can result in his disbarment.

See also barratry, Strategic lawsuit against public participation.

My Domain Proxy said that this letter was sent for me. They wanted $32 to foward it to me and I refused to pay.

Description of contents: Letter from Moxon & Kobrin alleging that your ownership of 4SCIENTOLOGY.COM constitutes trademark infringement.

Sender: Helena K., Kobrin

"Scientology" may be a trademark, but "4scientology"? If they don't have that exact domain name reserved, how can they claim it's a trademark?

You may need legal advice.

Freeborn,

The domain name provider didn't think it was a Trademark violation or they wouldn't have suggested the name.

Is Scientology so cheap that they think a six dollar domain name reservation will reserve every similar name? If they want to protect a name all they have to do is buy it!

I think some lawyer in Moxon & Kobrin should be disbarred for this absurdity!

New to the site with a lot of questions; I am shocked at what I've read here. I have heard Scientology was a cult, but didn't know how powerful and sinister they are.
