Great Mission, Great Work
A note of thanks to you for taking the time and energy and risk to do this.

Cheers to that!!!!!Rancid Viking wrote:A note of thanks to you for taking the time and energy and risk to do this.
Greetings and Thanks
Thank you Andreas, critics, and lurkers for creating and sustaining this site and message board. A family member of mine has been in the Sea Org for a number of years and I, with your help, have gotten over my anger (with her, not with the COS!) and have finally come to see her as a victim in this cruel hoax. I've also begun to take steps which I hope will someday ease her from their clutches. Friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances, and even strangers have been getting quite an earful from me lately r.e. Xenu, mind control, deplorable employment conditions, LRH - the liar, etc., etc., etc. Thank you!
thought this might help
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/263120 good luck against those scam artists.
Excellent flick but I could do without the Sex ads in the website and at the end
Not very family oriented

Hey, my girlfriend recently bought a new condo a few blocks away from the Church of Scientology of Coral Gables. She told me in passing that she thought about "walking in and taking a look around."
This prompted me to do some reading, and I found your site. I was able to read up on this cult and ultimately disuade her from doing anything related to it.
Deep down, I feel like I would have lost her, otherwise. Thanks so much.

Excellent site!
I've been watching Operation Clambake grow over the years, and I thought I'd take this opportunity to congratulate Andreas and everyone that has worked with him over the years on this magnificent project. You all provide a service to the public whose value cannot be measured in mere dollars or man-hours. A sincere "thank you" from the bottom of all our hearts.
Is the guestbook working?
So quiet here... is the guest book working?

The traditional sort order for a guest book is LIFO, with the latest
posts displayed first. Since extended conversation is disallowed
in this section I don't see why it should be a problem unless there's
some technical limitation. I think reversing the order would be
an improvement for this section.

- Scroll to the bottom of the page. See the blue bar? Toggle "Oldest first" to "Newest first" and click on "Go". Voilà ! Sorted.Guest wrote:The traditional sort order for a guest book is LIFO, with the latest

Interesting stuff!
Quite a few intriguing eyewitness accounts on this site! Glad to see the level of scrutiny being focused on the CoS Katrina relief efforts/ PR campaigns! Quite an eye-opener!
Any Atlanta Georgia resident might be interested to see the new building that the Atlanta Org has its eye on right now. They seem to be relentlessly pushing for donations on this, and sending tons of fliers begging for cash to anyone who ever set foot in their old Org building! http://elliottorg.com/
Anyway, I always look forward to the ARS update each week, so keep it up!

One disturbing thing about both opinions and debate sections is the
overabundance of levity. It almost seems as if every other post
is a lighthearted joke-post. One poster in particular only ever
seems to post "jokey" threads, and he starts a lot of them. This
really changes the apparent nature of the site to me. On any other
cult-help site you will not find such abject ridicule... though constant
parodies and jokes at the expense of the target group are par for
the course for hate-groups.
Maybe to the outside observer there are a lot of aspects of
Scientology which seem absurd and comical, but is this so for those
who have spent decades of their lives involved in it? I am not even
claiming that humour is bad. I think it's a good release valve. But
in such abundance it drags down the rest of the messages. When
a deadly serious topic is sandwiched on both sides by joke posts it
detracts from the gravity of the situation. To me that is inappropriate
and severely off-putting. I don't think most people can switch modes
like that very easily, going from, to use an example culled from what's
actually listed on the forums, "parody images" to "reestablishing strong
trust and boundaries after scientology". Those don't seem to belong
in the same section to me.
