I am forever walking upon these shores,
Betwixt the sand and the foam.
The high tide will erase my foot-prints,
And the wind will blow away the foam.
But the sea and the shore will remain
Forever.

-Kahlil Gibran

Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great,
some achieve greatness, and some have greatness
thrust upon them.

SCIENTOLOGY - SCIENTOLOGY - SCIENTOLOGY

"Brainwashing is nothing compared to it. The proper term would be 'soul cracking".

"It's like cracking open the soul, which then opens various doors to the power that exists, the satanic and demonic powers. Simply put, it's like a tunnel or an avenue or a doorway. Pulling that power into yourself through another person and using women, especially is incredibly insidious.

"It makes Dr. Fu Manchu look like a kindergarten student. It is the ultimate vampirism, the ultimate mind fuck. Instead of going for blood, you're going for their soul. And you take drugs in order to reach that state where you can, quite literally, like a psychic hammer, break their soul, and pull the power through.

"He designed his Scientology Operating Thetan techniques (Scientology's secret initiations) to do the same thing. But, of course, it takes a couple of hundred hours of auditing and mega thousands of dollars for the privilege of having your head turned into a glass Humpty Dumpty--- shattered into a million pieces. It may sound like incredible gibberish, but it made my father a fortune."

From L.Ronald Hubbard Junior - Ronald DeWolf
About His Father and The Scientology Tech.

Hubbard worked for the US Navy in WW II at the Philadelphia Navy Yard as a civilian. A number of other science fiction writers from the classic SF era also worked there. After the war there was a reunion party & Hubbard is reported to have said to L. Sprague DeCamp, another SF author that had worked at the Navy Yard, "If a fellow really wanted to make a lot of money, he would start his own religion".
I don't remember where I read it but it was in print over 20 years ago.

The Art of Peace begins with you. Work on yourself and your appointed task in the Art of Peace. Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment. Foster peace in your own life and then apply the Art to all that you encounter.

says more than the fool when he speaks.

The Voice

There‘s a voice inside of you
That whispers all day long,
“I feel that this is right for me,
I know that this is wrong.”
No teacher, preacher, parent, friend
Or wise man can decide
What’s right for you -- just listen to
The voice that speaks inside.

-Shel Silverstein

Madness is a rare thing in individuals—but in groups, parties, peoples,
and ages it is the rule. -Friedrich Nietzsche

One madman makes many madmen, and many madmen make madness.
-Romany saying

Reckoned physiologically, everything ugly weakens and afflicts man. It recalls decay, danger, impotence; he actually suffers a loss of energy in its presence. The effect of the ugly can be measured with a dynamometer. Whenever man feels in any way depressed, he senses the proximity of something “ugly.” His feeling of power, his will to power, his courage, his pride—they decline with the ugly, they increase with the beautiful. -Friedrich Nietzsche

Flutterby, that Neitzsche quote could have been used by the Nazis as an excuse to eliminate old, sick, or disfigured people, before they "contaminated" the "nice" people with their negativity.

It would have been less creepy if he had obsessed about the beneficial effects of beauty, through great music and art. Beauty is not the absence of ugliness, anyway.

Some Scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
