Hubbard's "Code of Honor" mandates surrendering one's will to one's
victimizers.

"Never withdraw allegiance once granted" is evil as it pays one's
abusers a dividend of loyalty and grants future access to abuse. In a
sane, health world (and in a sane, healthy group), allegiance is
*ALWAYS* probationary. Every human being who has ever lived has made
mistakes while accepting or granting allegiances detremental to
themselves and others. Hubbard would have his victims believe that
once allegiance to their victimizers is given, they must never retract
that allegiance. That is exactly how totalitarian organizations exist.

"Never fear to hurt another in a just cause" is evil incarnate. That
is the direct opposite of what my church teaches. The more just a
cause is, the greater must be the fear of harming people (as well as
all other living beings) in the name of that cause. This appears to be
the ONLY section of Hubbard's "Code of honor" that Hubbard followed
himself.

There is a condition worse than blindness,
and that is, seeing something that isn't there.

HM,

Your post #988 is a very good one. It is another of Hubbard's exaggerations.

PERFECT STRANGERS
by Deep Purple

Can you remember remember my name
As I flow through your life
A thousand oceans I have flown
And cold spirits of ice
All my life
I am the echo of your past

I am returning the echo of a point in time
Distant faces shine
A thousand warriors I have known
And laughing as the spirits appear
All your life
Shadows of another day

And if you hear me talking on the wind
You’ve got to understand
We must remain
Perfect strangers

I know I must remain inside this silent well of sorrow

A strand of silver hanging through the sky
Touching more than you see
The voice of ages in your mind
Is aching with the dead of the night
Precious life (your tears are lost in
Falling rain)

And if you hear me talking on the wind
You’ve got to understand
We must remain
Perfect strangers

Price of $cientology:
Ron L. Hubbard's "Dianetics", used, from Amazon.com - $0.25
One e-meter - $200
Training to "Clear" - $50,000
Lost income while you work for a pittance in the Sea Org to get to "Clear" - $150,000
Cost of divorce from SP spouse - $50,000
Cost of grief-counselling for disconnected family members - $9,000
Costs of selling house, car, pets and first born child in order to pay for
the OT levels - $6,000

Look on the face of the new OT recruit when they discover the Great Big
Secret of the OT levels is that they have space cooties? . . . . . .

If you become an idealological prisoner, the truth will always elude you because you will never seek it. Instead, you'll evaluate each issue and problem with an agenda: trying to prove your ideology is correct.

The antidote to this is to reject a rigid political philosophy and discipline yourself to think logically. Gather facts. Facts always look out for you. And that's a fact.

Hells Bells
by AC/DC

I'm a rolling thunder, a pouring rain
I'm comin' on like a hurricane
My lightning's flashing across the sky
You're only young but you're gonna die

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's putting up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

CHORUS:
Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringing Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells

I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're into evil you're a friend of mine
See my white light flashing as I split the night
'Cause if good's on the left, then I'm stickin' to the right

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

CHORUS

yeow
Hell's Bells, Satan's comin' to you
Hell's Bells, he's ringing them now
Hell's Bells, the temperature's high
Hell's Bells, across the sky
Hell's Bells, they're takin' you down
Hell's Bells, they're draggin' you around
Hell's Bells, gonna split the night
Hell's Bells, there's no way to fight, yeah

Ow, ow, ow, ow

Hell's Bells

Free at Last: Not that I'm suggesting anyone do this, but if you could just be a scientologist for a little while, you'd see that they want your whole life, every minute of it, to further their cause because in their eyes, it is the only thing worthy to be done in all the universe.

LRH the great humanitarian philanthropist philosopher spiritual-giant truth-finder did not exist.
LRH the wife-beating hypnotist bigamist homophobe liar megalomaniac sociopath con-man, alas, did, and many bear the scars that prove it.
