thats a big chart

I wonder what Tom would do if during an interview the reporter pulled that out and started asking questions.
I wonder if Tom would of ever been allowed to see that chart. As a celeb he does not do the same course work as the rank and file (read as the pigons and the sheep).

That is a good question. Now we just need to get this chart to his next known interview...maybe distribute copies of this at his next premier, if there is one. Mail one to him.

What I would like to know, is the price for each?
are they all roughly the same?
The Purif is aprox $1500 U.S, how high and how low do these all go?

If it costs roughly $360,000 U.S. to reach OTIII, then how do the rest work out? And where is that starting from?

That chart has definitely been changed since the 1970s.

The grade chart is usually displayed in the public areas (regging area, pc waiting area etc.) of any org. It is something that is shown to newbies, meant to inspire awe, "it looks so scientific", "so well planned". I knew scientologists who had a copy of the grade chart hanging on a wall at home.

The general outline should be exactly the same. But surely, celebs are treated more mildly when it comes to sec-checks, OT-elegibility etc.

Indeed. I guess that the most dramatic changes took place during the early eighties.

What about prices? Are prices for each course displayed for all?
or only when you get to it?

Price lists are usually distributed freely with magazines. There is one price list for the services that a local org can deliver (processing up to Clear and training up to Class V), one price list from the advanced organizations (OT I - OT V, Class VIII course etc.), one price list from Flag (OT VI, VII, L rundowns etc.) and one list from Freewinds (OT VIII, OT hatting etc.).

Customers will usually not see all the price lists before they have become dedicated scientologists.

When marketing and selling their services, the scientologists gladly talk about what you will gain. Then, if you get hooked, they'll tell you what you have to pay.
