Pat Harney, Public Affairs Director since at least 2002,* and defending Flag since 1997,** has for 15 years been swatting at picketers like Keith Henson, Shawn Lonsdale, and Anonymous, proclaiming there's no disconnection, and lately struggling against Narconon death scandals. Anxious to change the topic, she's blatantly plugging Applied Scholastics
The Pinellas County educators attending the March 9 conference resolved to reverse reading scores by networking with educators throughout Pinellas County to promote science-based methods to teach young people to read.
Church of Scientology Public Affairs Director Pat Harney hosted the event and presented each participant with Scientology: How We Help—Applied Scholastics, Achieving Literacy and Education, which describes the effective education training available through the Applied Scholastics program. ***
Pat, born in 1954, has earned a place on the 2013 Scientology Celebrity Spiderweb****

The naive Pat Harney, as a spokesperson for the cult, simply does not know that there is this thing called the "Internet". In this Internet thing, using a "web browser", one can find instantly what Applied Scholastics is all about. Harney is going to become a fool, a laughingstock, to the educational professionals.
I would very much like to be a fly on the wall when Ms. Harney has to face the slings and arrows of the educational professionals. Scientology seems very much unaware of their reputation, particularly in Pinellas County. If I were she, I would be on the first airplane out of town. She might go to Bulgravia with Little Davie.
