I accept WR,s apology.

Actually, I think she's the one who deserves an apology.

You accused her of "altering posts" to "suit her agenda." Turns out you slammed her out of ignorance. (Note that this is not an insult, but a statement of fact; I think the vast majority of the world's population is ignorant of this particular bit of shorthand on the internets.)

Reminds me of the time in college I told a friend that she looked natty. She took great umbrage; when I said it meant "sharp," she made a huge production of getting out a dictionary to prove that "natty" meant tattered or sloppy... and started reading the dictionary out loud...

Quote:
Neatly or trimly smart in dress or appearance; marked by up-to-dateness in dress and manners; "a dapper young man"; "a jaunty red hat," synonym, dapper... oops!

You simply misunderstood the jargon. Instead of taking this holier than thou approach, why not admit that you misunderstood and apologize for insulting her... and starting a whole new thread to do it... about nothing?

Like it or not, what (I) said within the context of this thread is how (I) feel. How (I) interpret what transpires.

Has it come to the point where an individual can not express( HIS) opinion. Or do( I) have to succumb to the pack mentality also?

[Aside: Thank you, those of you who HAVE visited more sites than just OCMB.]

Oh, wait. I think I remember how this game goes.

Let's see if I can play too.

For misunderstanding my intent so deliberately and obstinately, and turning it to suit your own conspiratorial agenda and dead-agent me out of my persuasive position here, Gumby, you must be OSA!!! Either that or you're jealous because I'm a very important poster!!!

Naw. I can't do it. It's too ridiculous.

I'm going to bed. G'night all.

It's Black PR tech being applied against WR, period. I don't know what is buzzing in the PM boxes, but this is another footbullet. Gumby, I respect you man, and I read you for the most part with interest, but this is wrong. This is way wrong.

WR will of course survive, and maybe with honors! Maybe rightfully so, proving that the tech does not work when applied outside the bubble.

WTF!

FACT: The "Church" of Scientology SELLS a "Communications Course"
yet hides behind 'anonymous' nicks, and then makes people from
Anonymous---who intentionally wear masks as protection against Scientology's own "Fair Game"---they make them wrong, or try to.

FACT: Scientology breaks up families.
See Personal Stories on the Main Page.

FACT: Scientology tries to stop free speech.

FACT: Operation Clambake has been and is a very safe place for people
to discuss their experiences, ask questions, come up with ideas
to expose the abuses of the CULT of Scientology. Occasionally
there are these upsets, but soon things will pick up, IF you hang
around for awhile.

I thank ALL who help in exposing their abuses, and sharing their experiences re this insidious organization hiding behind the curtain
of "religion". Also, thanks to Andreas and Roan for taking the time to
moderate and keep the joint going.

Nite!

Admitting that you were wrong is not pack mentality, it's common courtesy.

But since that kind of courtesy seems pretty uncommon around here....

I think you're a sniveling douche bag. That is my independent opinion. That is how I feel. That is how I have interpreted what transpires.

But if you prove me wrong by admitting it was a misunderstanding and apologizing to Rosie, I'll reevaluate my statements and say, "Good job, Gumby! Way to be a bigger person." That's the difference between us.

Can I ask what is behind all the name calling? There must be a better way to get your point across.

I thought it was rude also, more so when you did it to me just to push buttons. I get the point Stevie Ray made and I can live with it. But I have to say I don't like having anything I have posted changed even to make a point. I would much rather you make your own point.

Gumby, dude, you're pathetic.

It's pretty obvious that this thread has become the center of your universe.

Quoting yourself isn't going to make you less of a douche bag, any more than spending a jillion hours auditing non-existent body thetans is going to make somebody an OT.

Have a great time fapping over your own self-importance.
