There was a bit in there about changing your appearance.

At the costume store you can buy a plain white mask. These look like a regular nondescript face and these masks are cheap. You can cut out the mouth area enough so you can eat and drink while wearing the mask.

You can paint the mask with skin tones so it looks like a face without a mask but you can paint it so it doesn't look like your face without a mask.

Now you keep the mask that looks like a face in a bag and later when you leave you can take of the Guy Fawkes mask and put on the one that looks like a face without a mask.

Another way to disguise your identity is to change the way you stand and the way you walk. In addition to that cover or otherwise disguise the back of your head when you're protesting. The back of your head is as distinctive as your face to a trained observer. The shape of your ears is as unique to you as your finger prints. Take that into account, too.
