As of Friday (Jan 21), still no hours posted at the new place, still has one of those key-holder combination locks which realtors use hanging on the doorknob. Window still has some kind of "Certified Canon dealer" sticker still affixed to it. An easel is set up with a cartoonish presentation of the 21 (?) points of The Way To Happiness. I wonder what kind of 'pep talks' could possibly have been given to the people who helped with the move.

Hours are now posted-- Mon-Thurs 6:30-10pm, plus Thursday mornings, 8 to noon. That's new. Maybe a last-minute stat-push for four hours? Let's see... 18 hours open per week. Barely half-time if a little extra gets tacked on for pre-opening and post-closing setup and cleanup.

Is that 18 hours per month? (Is it only open from 9:30 pm to 10pm Monday through Thursday?!)

Now, 6:30-9:30 four nights a week, plus Thursdays 10-noon? Is that what I read on their front door the other day, next to the big (East-facing) windows so deeply tinted nobody can see how dead or desolate the inside is? Fourteen hours a week, down from eighteen?

I need to double-check.

Eleven hours a week smells like a one-person hobby to me.
