Post by scout77 » Fri Sep 02, 2005 4:02 am

New org opened up off of Lundy Avenue in San Jose. Approximately 60 thousand sq feet. Down the block luxury condo complex will be erected in near future. The org is centered in commercial business zone, many tech firms surrounding this site.

Mid-week counted 40 cars on two separate occasions-11am.
About 5 SO members standing at front entrance.

That's got to be costing a bundle! The rents for property in Silicon Valley, even post-bubble, are still pretty huge, aren't they?

My favorite roving reporter called me regarding Stevens Creek Org (San Jose), the newest ideal org.

Approximately 30 cars at 4:20 P.M. on 10/25/05.

Now folks, we are talking about an almost 60,000 square foot building.

Well that might be cool for staff if they want to hide somewhere and nap, no one would find them.

A bigger building just magnifies to those there just how few of they are.

Stevens Creek was once Saint Hill size and perhaps that was before they loosened up what it took to get that status.

On Thursday morning 10/27/05: approximately 35 cars again.

Sign that says: Open House, All are Welcome.

And of course the usual sign: Now Hiring

Thanks Roving Reporter!

Update on SJ building as of 12-14-05

Post by scout77 » Sun Dec 18, 2005 4:17 am

Drove past building 12-14-05 early afternoon. Banner posted
in front of drive way "All welcome blah blah" & a small saw horse style
Now Hiring sign.
About 35 to 40 cars, this was after lunch. Next to the main building there
is a second building that has scaffolding errected. I didn't see any one working on the building, possibly painting?

Tracking the last two weeks, counting cars before and after lunch hour.
Same amount of cars during the week. Lots of space- must sound like
a cavern- echoooo echoooo echooooooo "All welcome" sign hanging accross the driveway and it is so nice to see every one drive by, bye bye.
