Far more than simple gratitude, I feel I owe this community for even existing. I want to give a little back and so I made this little expose. Oh man, all the focus and passion they taught me over the years was not a waste! So here goes nothing.

Mad Hatter Studios is owned, operated and staffed by Sea Org members. I know this because when I was in the SO I used to know a guy who was posted there. A subset of INT Staff, these staffers are there for quality assurance and public relations reasons. I believe that this organization is very secret and kept on the down low by church management. For instance, while with a simple Google search I discover many albums and artists who recorded there, no web-site is found. How, in these days, could a “World Famous Recording Studio� exist without a website?

I’ll just bet that this place is used for the upper echelon to meet with artists and celebs all the time, off the regular channels. Just another buffer between reality and appearance. I am sure you can understand the need for the Church to meet and recruit celebrities, especially when the celebrity has no damn idea. With the current news fracas going on it is more imperative than ever for this location to remain pristine and unfettered.

Well there you have it. The proof is in the pudding. We need some picketers out there sometime soon. I think this would be a great hit to them. God I wish I could go… maybe some day.

And a handy list compiled by me of artists who have recorded there. Not complete by any means and I do not vouch for times as far as recording under church management. Some of these artists are big, some unknown. All were one step removed from Celebrity Centre.

Holy cow! Within 23 minutes of me posting this Bleepch posted a sense of garble about a post that was last updated over six months ago! Then when I wrote the list of names it was again covered up. Guys please give me some feedback on this as it is really telling about the importance of this Mad Hatter Studio. Sorry to keep bumping my own posts I know it is rude but I don't want to see them cover this over.

Here is the odd post.

Jabberwock is correct. The "Mad Hatter" studio in Hollywood not far from Big Blue was purchased by scientology in the early 2000s from Chick Corea. (Do you suppose the name comes from "Alice in Wonderland" which is the book used in TR drills? duh!)

It is a top secret project, a front for Gold. The renos, which included extensive dangerous asbestos removal, was performed by the RPF under the supervision of Wick Allcock from Gold. Almost no professionals were used, just a cherry-picked top secret team of RPFers. Man, could those guys sue, if only they would wake up and walk out the door.

My understanding is that so much of the "talent" that was needed to translate tapes were not INT qualled under the increasingly tight security clearances, so they needed a local facility.

At the same time, INT base suffered breaches in their security which made it unsafe for celebrities and VIPs to visit the Hemet Base, mainly due to PR concerns, so the Mad Hatter became the new "safe" secret place.

What's the big deal that your thread was moved down one notch? It happens to all threads when anyone posts anything. It certainly doesn't hide your post or cause others not to see it in any way.

You are a very good writer and I enjoy your posts but please don't get into that OSA is everywhere kind of mentality.

It's very true OSA exists and they do really dumb stuff but let's not assigning them "cause" over every little thing.

Have you followed the link? Did you see the post made 23 minutes after this expose? Did you read the garbled gibberish that it was? Do you see it for the obvious spam it is? Can you see it was in a thread from over six months ago? Do you understand that it knocked my post off the main page where less are likely to read it? Do you understand the OSA mindset that sees that as a small temporary victory?

I was there. I know these people intimately. The very real fact is they have people assigned to read these forums the same way every DSA in every Org reads the daily newspapers and writes up-lines about anything interesting. Check up on it. All true.

And thank you for the compliment and the attempted reality check. But I still think I am right on about this.

I was in Scn for 30 years, I've been out for 5, I am very familiar with how osa works and I'm also familiar with the critic scene, osa on these boards
and trolls.

Chill out. Don't worry about them. Post your stories and ignore what the say or do. They love to see people get upset and find your "buttons".
Don't give them any clues as to what pisses you off. They will just use it against you.

One more thing. I don't know about moving your post off the main page.
I saw without any problems what so ever.

If they had untrained RPF slaves removing the asbestos then the Mad Hatter building probably still has asbestos fibers floating around, and the soil around it, if disturbed, will release more asbestos into the neighborhood.

Those RPF workers probably didn't have proper safety equipment to protect their lungs and skin, and are at risk for mesothelioma. If they smoke, the risk is even higher. If they stomped back into RPF headquarters with their work uniforms still bristling with fibers, then RPF headquarters got contaminated. David Miscavige is RIGHT to put a little plastic wrap over his water glass!
