Umike,
Larry, I believe that means "Greater Mountain Time" Plus 1 hour to calculate the time.
What? Have you forgotten the smilie or don't you really know that "GMT" means "Greenwich Mean Time"?
I can’t imagine I’m the only one thinking clearly about this. Sometimes I think I’m taking crazy pills.

Mike,

GMT = Greenwich Mean Time (pronounced as grenich).

This is the meridian that is called zero (or zulu). It "passes" through Greenwich England. It is a world time standard. It is essentially the same as UTC.

Thanks. That was simple. I started a thread about my conversation with my daughter today.

As a person who was never involved in SCN you might find my daughter's reaction very interesting. It would probably be the same reaction among the general public.

The Search feature seems to be much better than before.

Thanks.

Hey Programmer Guy,

I can find absolutely nothing with the new search feature. Would/could you please explain step by step how to find something?

Thanks,

Tigger

Tigger,

Absolutely nothing?? Wow!

I am usually searching for something in the content of posts.

------------------------------------------------------
I enter the words of interest in the box.

Radio button on "Search for any terms or use query as entered".

Search message text only.

Display results as posts.
------------------------------------------------------

This works better for me than the old Discus software.
However I haven't found a way to select an exact phrase for matching (yet).

The phpBB website doesn't have any detailed info on the Search feature either. (I wish that they would give numerous examples, too.). In fact, everything else but that seems to be covered. Oh well... <sigh>

If you are curious as to what systems software that any website is running you can go to:

http://news.netcraft.com/

Then, in the upper right corner, where it says, "What's that site running?..." just copy-and-paste the URL.

For example, just copy-and-paste:

http://www.xenu.net/

OR

http://www.yahoo.com/

Then, hit "carriage return" (i.e. "enter" key)

You might be curious as to what Scientology websites are running. (And when they last changed/upgraded their systems software... compared to other sites).

Oops. It's not upper right corner - it's upper left corner.
