Dear Roan,

It is 7 a.m. in Oklahoma. When I last posted yesterday afternoon, there were 45,899 "registered". Just now, it shows 45,950, which means that 51 (whatever) "registered" since then.

So I was wondering....how is it going to be determined (of those who are registering) who is kosher and who is not?

Wfhen was the last time anyone who "registered" got a go-ahead to post?

If, when someone gets around to vetting the "registered", isn't that going to be an impossible task? The reason for not accepting registration applications has been no time to do it.....

Also the statements about the "registered" and the number registered are misleading,
aren't they? These people are applying for registration. Applying for registration is not the same as being registered. They aren't registered and can't post until they are vetted.

So shouldn't "something" be done to handle this?

Tigger I know you are not stupid. Stubborn as a loon yes.

Mrs. Kravitz go nose on another board, find something else to complain about, for heavens sake shut it!

Yes, this is rude and not following the bite your tongue rule. You get what you sow darlin'. Go piss off you old bat!!!

IMO most of these numerous registration applications are attacks by trolls, be they CO$ or Anons (who have been pissed off at OCMB before) or just trolls out for a little fun....which would cause a problem not only for OCMB, but also for any legitimate new comers who would like to post here.

There are too many to vet and register.
(Besides, if someone sounds O.K., how does one vet him/her to make sure he/she is honest?) Since it appears no one is being
registered for posting anyway.......one solution would be to shut down the registration application feature entirely for a while. Maybe the trolls would go away after a while and it could be opened again.

Also, if an OCMB member could/would vouch for a wanna-be member, maybe something could be arranged for those people to get in.

Anybody else have any ideas for solutions?

Tigger thinks she has a right to make "helpful sugggestions" to the guys who've been running this joint for a long time.

Tigger, who probably never ran a website, message board or email list in her whole life, thinks she knows better than those who have.

Tigger should shut up on this subject because it's so so so so so so fun to watch her twist in the wind, stick foot in mouth, say the darndest things. Oh wait, Tig shouldn't shut up on this topic. We're having lots of popcorn at Tig's expense.
