Boston Org's Ideal org

Post by Patty Pieniadz » Mon Dec 17, 2007 4:00 pm

Boston org's Ideal Org website

If you click on virtual tour and then click on the
picture, it takes you to a 125 page pdf with info
on the org and a lot of pictures of Scios that are
still on lines there.

I was very sad to see so many of the people I
knew and were friends with still there, wasting
their lives aways.

Education is not a hate crime.

It's an interesting document.

First item of interest: "Although the building was not for sale, the owner was contacted and after many months of negotations, he has finally agreed to sell us the property for $4.5 million" (page 32)

Is there anyone living in that area that can check on the current owner... who might also be willing to "enlighten" him into the cult status of the CofS?

Second item of interest: "In fact the city has taken legal action to force the owner to renovate the Alexandra or to relinquish control to a “Receiver” who would then see to the rehabilitation of the property." (page 33)

I doubt that legal action has been taken. I notice that such documents are distinctly omitted from the presentation.

This isn't the first time I've heard a Scientologist suggest that a property should be "condemned" or taken with "eminent domain" type force because they wanted the property or wanted the property upgraded in order to safeguard their own property values interest (in other words, they wanted upgrades in the town so THEIR property values went up; not to prevent their property values from going down).

I would be surprised if the letters urging restoration for the building were written by Scientologists or were written on the behest of nudges from Scientologists.

The Church of Scientology wants to transform an abandoned Roxbury hotel into the organization’s Boston headquarters, but some neighbors are raising questions.

The former Alexandra Hotel in Boston has been sold to the Church of Scientology. Mayor Thomas M. Menino says he supports the church’s development plans, but some area residents have voiced opposition.
