LOL, I am far from 12 and know the difference between having The Godfather as part of your resume and having Eyes Wide Shut on it. Tc could not even act like he had passion for his own wife on the film.

What can we expect from a little clammer girl in france...You are funny!

"little clammer girl in France?"

developpe please. Are you calling me a scientologist seriously or by provocation? that you can piss me off and ask for a ban of me to the moderation?

Eyes Wide Shut is a masterpeice for lots of people, you got to respect that.
Here it's a 'legend' movie; remember you didn't saw the real movie in USA because of the rating, they put CGI in front of the naked bodies having sex.

It's more an european movie, not for american really. Kubrick was british after all. The mood, the timing, the frame...

Tom was at his best and I was surprised and loved him in EWS, many say the intensity he got just with his eyes, when he is followed in the street is perfect and you have the chills! (well, I did, at last for the last one).

He is the one who manage the best to have some interaction with Kidman, and God know it's mission:impossible.
She's well know to be cold and don't have chemistry with her partners (see with Sean penn in The interpreter, and Just Law in Cold Mountain, nicole herself ;) = the cold moutain hehe)
She act alone; Like Les Cahiers said: the best scene metaphore to resume her acting carrer is when she is watching herself and making love with herself in front of the mirror in EWS.

I love Al Pacino too; but not Gigli! ;)

I did call you a little clammer french girl, but did not ask for your ban.

Mission impossible...other great displays of his talent. EWS is not even Kubrik's best film.

EWS was a slow plodding movie. That tried to be deep and missed miseribly.
It tried to make something completely mysterious out of a well staged sex party. Nothing in it is shocking or edgy.
Her big secret is that she thought about having sex with a guy she saw while eating.
A little suspence would of been nice.

Kilia had posted a young Hubbard pic awhile ago. Her take was young DM.
I saw that photo again on youtube (I think that 5 parter, Secret Life of L Ron Hubbard?), and thought it looked like Christian Slater.

Anywho...for all you aspring actors out there:

Because You’ve Always Wanted to Play the Part of L. Ron Hubbard
Brat Productions, one of our favorite groups of local renegade thespians, is currently gearing up for their holiday spectacular, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant, scheduled for the second half of December. Auditions are being held this weekend for the parts of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard (pictured), Angelic Girl, Robot Child and the operator of the E-Meter, the lie detector that Scientologists use to control clear the minds of their members.

Auditions are being held this weekend for the parts of Scientology founder L. Given the litigious nature of the Scientology organization, which always seems to be using the courts to convince the world at large that they are not a bunch of raving lunatics, we can’t help but wonder if Brat is going to have legal difficulties over the production. If so, it won’t be the first time.

In 2005, the tiny company garnered national press when the owners of the Grease script issued a cease-and-desist order over Brat’s all-female version of the show, explaining that the role of Danny simply could not be played by a woman. Brat responded by pulling an all-nighter and coming up with Grease and Desist, a satiric version of the show that won critical acclaim. — Victor Fiorilo

John Cleese could do this. Need a bit of make up etc, but he is the man for the job.
