From the AIS record she spend Sunday night in Castries and then set off, allegedly for Kingston, eta Monday 25 June 2012 at 10.00 UTC.
This is not Kingston in Jamaica but Kingstown in St VIncent. In fact the cancer-boat is heading for Bridgetown in Barbados, having sailed south from Basseterre to Castries to St VIncent and then made a sharp turn to the left.
I hope those on board are thrilled by all this media attention.
Further report if anything happens. And probably even if nothing does.
12.37 The only thing that happened was that she went round in a big loop off Bridgetown and is currently parked there, apparently off-shore, I mean, in the middle of the sea, not at the wharf, if AIS is working right. AIS shows another shop at the quay so have they put the plague ship in quarantine?
Correction to above. Night of Sunday to Monday she spent in Castries, night of Monday to Tuesday she spent in Kingstown in St Vincent, eta 10.00 but Kingstown is Out of Range. Puzzle solved.
At the moment, 06:29 she is still parked off Bridgetown, Barbados.
