It is so sad to be getting calls on Christmas Eve. I recently visited with family who are still "in". They have 2 telephone lines. One for family and close friends and the other number was given to the church.

The scieno line rang off the hook. There was an ethichs situation going on so it may have been worse then normal. I was so sad that my family thought it was normal to have to have 2 telephone lines. I wonder how many other church members have 2 lines.

Even before the cell phone era, a lot of public Scientologists had one "real" phone and one "org" phone.

Also, lots of them have PO boxes that are just for Scientology mail, so that it doesn't get mixed in with their "real" mail.

Are there Federal regulations against making calls like that on a holiday?

I have been out for a long time. I am happy to get the sleep I need to be healthy and sane. I am happy to eat enough food to be healthy and sane. I am happy to have real friends that listen and don't judge me. I am happy that I am not in the church of sceintology. I am happy that I am not able to be subjected to endles torture and brainwashing from the church.

I tell everyone and I mean everyone about my experiences, the horrors and the actual views of the church and it's members. As a matter of fact my work is not done until the person is practically in shock and having a stroke from what I am telling them; I will never stop either.

I know all the inside info... I tell them all of it, I mean all of it... YOU should too. Please continue to talk and let the world know the actual things you experienced.

And Tom, you can go to those clubs all you want, all the legal waivers in the world will not protect you from your lies, kinda ironic that your name is tom cruise... your middle name should have been "reach around".

The church will be closed, banned and illegal by the end of my lifetime. It's almost there now. Please continue to expose them. Please continue to sacrifice your privacy to tell your stories. Don't ever quit. That's the only thing the church ever has had going for them, YOUR SILENCE. Speak and speak loudly!

When you get those calls from now on, take them... Tell them they can leave any time they want. Make a safe place for those staff to go. Make it ok for them to leave. Put them up in your house...

Talk to them about life, remind them they are more than what they are being told. Offer them whatever they need to leave... let them know that they are liked by others not in the church. Tell them about life outside, talk to them about their hopes, dreams and goals before the church.

Parents... LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU LOVE THEM, tell them you will help them, give them your cell #'s, give them some food money, help them as much as you can to get them out. Remind them that they can always call, day or night, that they can always come home and you will come get them. DO NOT lecture them or judge them, just help them leave and make it safe for them to go.

The church is not as powerful as we all have thought. They are actually pretty powerless. The church has the worst pr of any group out there and young people all over are well informed about the church these days. This is truely what they call a flash in the pan, here and gone in less than a century, stricktly small time and pointless.

I was on staff at a class 5 org and it took me few months to catch up on my sleep after I finished.
I can only imagine how tougher it is for a staff member in the SO.

Actually it took about 4 years for me and the first 3 I left work early everyday and took a nap. It took about 2 years to get my diet/regular meals in order. It took about 3 years to start making friends and about 2 years for my dad to speak to me. I have slowly been re-building my life, it's been hard. I am sure you have your stories too. The main thing is to continue to tell everyone you know what you know. It doesn't have to be on here. Just continue to tell the actual things you experienced. People are a hell of a lot smarter than scientology ever has understood. I was always shocked at how nice people were that I would meet. I would look at them stupidly when they spoke to me and weren't yelling at me.

It's funny because i do spread the word as much as I can about the crap in scio. Honestly though, 95% of the time as soon as the word "scientology" comes out of my mouth people already know all the bullshit about it. It's great. Scientology has such a bad reputation I really don't know how they stay around. I mean it really amazes me. I know out here in AZ they are making a huge deal out of the Polygamist mormons & cracking down on that religious sect. I really want a big investigation into scientology & have it blown up to the media. I know they've done it in the past... But it's time for another crackdown. I mean CNN, Fox news, whatever. Bit off-topic but a non-American friend of mine has been getting calls from Flag. Instead of the calls showing up as "overseas" calls (like they used to) they have been showing up as "private". My friend asked her telephone company why this was, and was told that Flag has probably paid to upgrade their exchange. Usually, she does not answer overseas calls much, knowing it is probably Flag but has been tripped up by seeing the call as private.

Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography was due to be released from bookstores on the 15th of January. Now it is doubtful that a single book will ever be delivered to the public from any bookstore! In spite of a valiant fight and its previous denials, St Martin’s Press and/or Andrew Morton the book’s author are soon expected to regrettably announce that they have been forced to recall Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography from all bookstores and distributors because of legal and/or other reasons. Here’s why:

1.) St Martin’s Press and Andrew Morton are about to get a crushing 100 million dollar plus lawsuit from Tom Cruise (according to Cruise’s lawyer.)

2.) St Martin’s Press and Andrew Morton are crumbling under the Scientology cult’s behind-the-scenes mafia-like intimidation tactics. (According to London’s Sunday Express, even before Morton wrote the book on Tom Cruise, which gives details on his bisexual love life, how Nicole Kidman his former wife was blackmailed to not speak about how bad Scientology is and how Tom’s life is totally controlled by the Scientology cult, Morton was warned by members of the star’s family and friends not to investigate. “I have received threats from the Scientologists.” Morton claims, adding that he was forced to sell his London apartment and intends to “disappear for a while.”)

3.) Another separate free press crushing 100 million plus lawsuit against St Martin’s Press and Morton is also expected to be filed soon by the Scientology cult’s infamous litigation juggernaut. (This new book also tells about the current head of the Scientology cult (David Miscavige.) trying to create a “devil’s child or “Rosemary’s baby” with Tom Cruise’s new wife and the dead cult founder L Ron Hubbard’s frozen sperm.)

Now that the first few of the damaging parts of the book’s contents have leaked out Scientology and Cruise have assumed the full “book burning” attack mode.

Former Scientology cult members believe that the current head of Scientology David Miscavige has made stopping this new Cruise tell-all book personal. They say David Miscavige will use any and all Scientology assets and resources necessary to insure that this new biography does not harm his personal reputation as leader of Scientology, that it does not harm Tom Cruise, (Scientology’s greatest media recruiting asset for children and young adults) nor that it further harms Scientology’s already gutted reputation as a pariah among religions and the poster child of destructive and crazy cults. (Tom Cruse is said to be directly responsible for tens of millions of dollars coming into Scientology annually because of his recruitment of new members achieved primarily through his mass-media interviews and media appearances, (which almost always promote Scientology in some hidden or not so hidden way.)

Thank you for posting the information on how to stop mailings. The email address "address@scientology.net" bounced my emails. I did call the number and was on the phone with a very young address call in who tried her best to handle me before she stopped mailings. She informed me that it would take 7-8 weeks for mailings to stop but couldnt assure me they would permenantely.

Does anybody have any updated information as to how to get off ALL mailing lists?

I don't think it's possible, BLUBABY. I've tried the usual means and I still get tons and tons of mail from all over the planet, even from orgs I've never been to. It actually increases every year. It might slow down for a while after I complain loudly, but then it starts back up again. I always get recruit letters from the latest Ideal Org push too. When they started their bogus "data base update" project, they said it was to correct mail errors. But they lied to me every time they called. The real reason for the new database was to establish an international master database that could send direct mailings to individuals all over the planet for whatever new thing COB was ordering, and to get their mail stats up, of course. For example, I get a recruit letter from some org I've never been to that is trying to become an ideal org. I call them to get off the list. According to their policies on mailings, I should not even be in their CF (central files), they shouldn't even know who I am. Well, turns out they don't have me in their CF. Some international mailing arm of scientology is sending me recruit letters on behalf of the latest ideal org project, but the letter is made to look like it was sent by that org, with their return address. What they're doing wildly violates their own policies on mailings, it pisses people off and makes sense only to someone like COB and his minions who think they can control people through pieces of paper.

Anyway, I've never threatened legal, but I've heard some people say that it works. But if you have family in, that might not be an option. It could result in those family members disconnecting from you. Imagine that, disconnecting from a family member because they are no longer scientology and simply want the tons of junk mail to stop!

I got off of all mailing lists quite simply: I was video'd and photo'd donating my VM attire and backpack to clearwater anons. After OSA's visit (where I told them where they could go), I never got any promo or calls again.
