This is a great idea. There are so many stories out could be added (unfortunately). People just need to know about it. I'll put it in my signature...maybe that will help (on some boards people's signatures get picked up when Google crawls the board).
Thanks for putting it in your sig line. That's a big help to getting the word out.
Yes, there's a lot of stories around the internet. My friend is wanting people to submit their stories to the website rather than having her go around the net and pick up stories and re-publish them. So if any of you out there have stories you already wrote, maybe you can copy them from wherever they are and paste them into the
www.scientologydisconnection.com "tell us your story" link.
And if anyone has any suggestions about the website, please write back here (on OCMB and I'll relay the message) or use the "contact" link on
www.scientologydisconnection.com.
The website says:
Quote:
The purpose of this website is to collect and publish personal accounts of Scientology disconnection, such as:
children and parents being separated,
spouses or lovers being broken up,
"friends" dropping friends at the request of a staff member of the Church of Scientology,
and business relationships being disrupted (including firing).
The stories on this website will stand alone as expert witness and personal testimony to the Church of Scientology disrupting relationships.
Spokespeople for the Church of Scientology have repeatedly denied that it enforces its members to disconnect from others. I'll let the reader determine for himself or herself if this is true or not.
