Never heard of the CHURCH of Scientology! Like....CHURCH? Duh! Duh!!
Mayby you are REAL dykes after all?
What would you care about god anyhow?"
Ok ya little git, a) i am bi-sexual (bi-straight if you're arguing) so not a REAL dyke, however i cant talk for my friend, but she does have a boyfriend right now, ok?
b) We weren't truly aware of what the exhibition was about anyway, such is the nature of teenagers, right? we lack attention for small and big details.
and c) What would i care about God anyhow? well you tell me? or better still, you can tell the nice young lady who dragged us into the exhibition, right?
oh and "mayby"? is spelt "maybe" DUH! YUH DIMWIT!
i posted the whole story in my online diary and someone told me about this website, so i trotted my little ass over here and wrote it up. unconvinced? yes ma'am.
Cool, the film wasnt strictly about mind control, but there was certainly a lot of mention about it, after the first 15 minutes about auditing and mind control, we left because it got a little too much.
and also, they did quite plainly state:
"the Church of Scientology hasnt disproved God, we just say there isnt one"
which confused the hell out of us because of all the crucifixes (is a crucifix only one with Jesus on? oh, well crosses then) on the film.
i'm sure lifts can be tricky (for a 3 yr old *ahem* )
i dont really know enough about the CoS to comment about their holding people, but it's pretty obvious they target some weak-minded people. i think i'll read up on this "religion"... we may even cover it soon in school, who knows?
