I am a declared SP and basically all my friends from the church disconnected from me when I got declared.

Then about 1 1/2 years ago I found Facebook and a bunch of people became friends with me, then they all erased me when they found out I was still declared.

Now I have people contacting me again, trying to be friends with me (not just Facebook, other methods such as email, etc).

It was all of the sudden several of them at the same time.

Weird. Anyone else have this happen?

And they say the church is crumbling, they disagree with current management, DM is SP, etc.

Is it just a line? Or people really are waking up?

Anyone?

Bea, follow the trail... see where it goes.

Don't invest yourself to heavily at first; protect yourself (emotionally, friendship-wise, your heart, etc.), but engage them in communication. It's hard to see what harm can come of it, since they've already "found you" anyway on Facebook, e-mail, etc. and you could end up helping someone, or un-cover a Scientology footbullet.

Maybe you're the "seed" that was planted in them 1 1/2 years ago.

Call me crazy, but I do think people are waking up.
It seems like there are a bunch coming out on Marty's blog, for instance.
That being said, I would be suspicious of what kind of friends these are, if they unceremoniously disconnected, and then tried to reconnect a while later.

I love my evilness!

Yeah, I am not afraid by any means. Just curious as to motive.

Some say my declare could be cancelled after the sh*t blows over.

Doesnt matter to me, though it would mean I could see my mom again. Other than that, I dont care one bit.

I recently contacted four Scientologists on Facebook, and two of them agreed to be my friend. At least one of them knows I have been declared. I think there is no doubt that all declares will be lifted when the sh*tstorm blows over and DM is gone. When that time comes, will I want to reconnect with the friends who won't communicate with me because of some arbitrary rule? I don't need friends like that. Ron calls those type of people "Robots", or suffering from "robotism" or at the very least, PTS. The Church is full of them. All members of the church are PTS, if only to COB.

Personally, I would not want people unthinkingly following what they thought I wanted, without applying their own good judgment. I will assume LRH would have wanted the same thing. If LRH was actually insane and didn't want that, then tough, I will force my thoughts on his legacy anyway. I finally wrote letters to the local HCO and CJC, telling what I thought. Probably these will go to the circular file. However, I had trouble sleeping last night. My mind was just racing and it seemed like I just had a lot of charge on all this. After a few hours of this I turned on my computer and read a little something, and noted that several people I hugely admired were on the official church enemies list. After that, I was able to sleep.

When I woke up this morning, I finally realized what I was dealing with in Scientology. The church is exactly like the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. With both arms and legs cut off: "Oh, running away are you? Come back here and take what's coming to you! You yellow bastard! I'll bite your legs off!!"

The only logical thing for me to do is go on my way and pursue my own quest.

I've already been through that.

"Oh, those were the bad old days. These are the good new days. Come back and start scientology again in a new unit of time."

The "bad old days" they were referring to were the days when L. Ron was running things and the "good new days" are now when Davey's in charge.

I know there are some people who have family still in who would desperately like to see them and talk with them again. I sympathize. I hope you all reconnect, but I think going back into the so called church under any circumstances or for any reason is not a wise move.

It's probably for the same reason(s) that many exe's, that have been out for decades, are suddenly getting phone calls from "the mail department".

They tried to contact me but wound up with the wrong number at the wrong house.

I think some of them are trying to see who I am in contact with. They are trying to unweave the web of connections we all have? Trace it back? Pshaw... mine would be a dead end, but good luck with all that!

They should know that as a "declaredespee" it is part of your "hat" to give them false reports. You should know that the people who are in who are contacting you have been directed to lie, cheat, trick, etc. where you are concerned. Treat with them accordingly.

Where did you get the idea that Hubbard wanted anyone to apply any sort of judgment? It's all about slavishly following his edicts.

Scilontology has always been the L. Ron Hubbard admiration society. Ron is infallible. If he said it, it's true.

Any Q&A, questioning, verbal tech or disagreement is a suppressive act.

Think for yourself... but if you come to a conclusion that differs from Hubbard's, it's not you thinking, it's your reactive mind or body thetans.

Concerning the phone calls... I think that the SCN right-hand doesn't know what the SCN left-hand is doing. This is my speculation.

The phone call issue has been reported by others on ESMB also.
I want to know WHY this is happening at this point in time.

Does anyone have any guesses or knowledge on this?

I haven't gotten any phone calls. BUT:

I have had Scientologists contact and try to be my friend on Facebook. These are people I don't know. They are adding in their message to me that disconnection is not part of what they believe in.

What about my mother. How about her? Why doesn't she call me? SHE is the one who is disconnected from me. She does not return my calls or write to me, even though she has ways to contact me, if she really wanted to. (she is in the Sea Org)

So, because some random Scientologist I don't know tries to be my friend that means that disconnection does not exist?

How about my mom or my niece. One of THEM contacts me, that would be different.

Here's a little rule of thumb for you.

For a person who was in scientology and has left it anything weird is probably the office of special affairs running an operation.

Anything weird may not have any evidence of scientology connected with it but my advice would be to suspect scientology involvement.

Stuff that's weird that has evidence of scientology being connected with it is probably not an operation aimed directly at you but at people with whom you are connected.

The people who are in scientology who are making contact with you on Facebook very probably know quite a lot about you. Saying disconnection is not part of what they believe in is a public relations ploy.

My advice is to not trust them.

I hope you get a chance to connect with your family members who are still in.
