My boss, a scientologist, informed us employees during one of our weekly "staff training" days that Coca Cola, Whirpool, and other large companies are using their management techniques. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is stop buying coke products,I DID!!

It is possible that individual employees at these companies are trying to apply "management tech" in their personal job or in small workgroups, but it is highly unlikely that this is happening on a large scale.

Allstate Insurance did do this a number of years ago, and it blew up in their face and became a major embarrassment. If you do an Intenet search on the terms "Allstate" and "Scientology," you'll find a detailed account.

Any company using the dreaded Scientology Mangement techniques had better prepare for bankruptcy. The Church itself is a good example of how poorly those techniques work, with the one exception being in the area of keeping secrets.

Anon, he's just saying that to inflate the image of Scientology. If one guy at Coca Cola uses the techniques, and gets some other people to then "Coca Cola International is benefitting from using Scientology's highly technical methods for improving efficiency and profitability." Don't let that stop you from drinking coke.

The day Coca Cola *officially* uses $cientology is the day I will have landed on the moon.

It will also be the day the taste will change due to the prescence of a mysterious mind control substance in the drink.
