My dad took my mum in to it when she was young and we went through hell becaus of him. Then he got her working for the scientologists and as usual he bummed around. I just remember being fed toast always, nothing else hardly and he wouldn’t get a job but complained when he had to look after us when mum was at work.When mum had enough of his bumming we left and he didn’t keep in touch or want us. I didnt really care, we had a better life without him. He tries now but he thinks we like him. We don’t. after he dumped us he got another woman and her kid and got her to work for the scientologists as well. And had another kid, one he seemed to like for a while but then he dumped them as well, prob’ly because she wanted him to work for a change like mum did. And got another slapper, one who is my age, sick. I suppose he makes her work for him now. He’s a mental case but he was always a mental case, I have lots of memories of him and not good ones. now he is still bumming but the new one who seems as mental as him is working so he’s happy again. What a loser. Doesn’t care about any of the kids he had just about himself. I don’t blame scientology for that I blame him. We live a long way from him and I’m glad, he wrecked enough of our lives I don’t need him around. we were all screwed up becaus of him and his scientology life and he never got anywhere and he never made it like he promised so broken promises all my life. the cult and my dad screwed us all up. its hard when your a kid of scientology becaus you dont have any choices,they are made by the parents.

You are so right. It is not fair for the kids who are forced into Scientology. Children look to their parents to set an example so they can go forward in life and do well scientology works against the family and works against relationships. I'm sorry you had to go through this.

thanx for replies. you are right that the kids really suffer when parents make wrong choices becaus I have so many bad memories of childhood and it turned my dad crazy and he never was normal so we had to live with that. and he dumped us which is what scientologists do but my friends parents split and his dad didnt dump them so you are right scientologists dont care about families even if they say they do. i will never treat my kids that way becaus I have seen what he has done and i will never treat a wife like he did becaus nobody deserves that but all the time he was saying how great scientology is.
