They no longer have staff who are trained at all and not sure if any staff are still there.

The top person the executive director has been sent away.

Virginia tells me that she is having trouble posting here and wants to know if there is anything new known about the condition of the Memphis org.

Anyone know?

Yes, this works.

Virginia, I don't know why you can't just set up a new account here if you can't use your old one.

Please try again. Email me if you still have trouble doing so.

Best regards,
Programmer Guy

Nope, I build indoor bleachers for a living.
Use roto-hammers to put in the lag bolts for
the uprights that attach to the walls. I mostly
installed Hussey's for schools and rec centers.

Last I heard the memphis mission had only the main guy named Paul as everything. He was out in LA doing some training and had some public answering the phone.

Nothing really going on there at all.

Which is no surprise because the lady who owns it, Peggy Crawford also owns the wichita mission and one in river park california and they are all doing terible and have been for years.

But Peggy is so good at lying to people and pushing her staff so hard that they false report their stats.

She gets donations from other wealthy scientologists from other states for non-existent activities and then using the money to keep her missions acually open.

Paul's wife in memphis won't have anything to do with Peggy and actually can't stand her.

In wichita, because of non-payment of rent, she has been kicked out of every apartment that has been rented for her. She has a bad reputation in wichita.

In river park, they have been doing terrible for years and my informant is surprised that they stay open at all.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like business as usual.

According to Scn promo there are now 4,397 groups, missions and orgs compared to 365 in 1984.

The vast majority of these are probably people who pledged to start a Dn group and likely did nothing or little with it but they are still on the rolls, because once you are on it Scn would be very reluctant to remove you from the list.
The missions are for the most part doing poorly and as far as I can tell, the only orgs doing well are in Asia, Russia or Eastern Europe and who knows if that's got any truth to it.

Hey Davey, how many of these 4,397 are actually viable? I suggest you WC M9, M4 and get a tough star-rate on this word. What you may find is that you are deluding yourself into thinking expansion is actually happening. You know you can't operate without true data.

No 8C Now, well if the top orgs and mission down through history were always either insolvent or borderline insolvent and they were the top ones, then all the ones below them should really be doing badly.

Which we have seen from reports here and on other sites where the mission is a PO box address and ran out of someone's home or is a tiny rented space and no one is ever there.

They are a sham. They are shrinking. They have created all their own enemies and problems.

There are no OT powers because if there were, they would be fixing all this and I wouldn't be here posting and the super power building would be getting built and staff would get paid well and etc. etc. etc.

Free at last,

You said, "...well if the top orgs and mission down through history were always either insolvent or borderline insolvent ..."

I am very surprised that you said this.

I know of at least 2 missions that were doing extremely well in the 70s.

When I was on course at ASHO they seemed to be doing very well also. At that time, when I took the shuttle van to and from The Manor and ASHO, the shuttle van also went by LA Org, AOLA, and CC and they all seemed to have lots of people in their orgs (i.e. parking lots full, people coming in and out).

PG, I wasn't around in the 70's, I'm talking about what I know about since 1993.

Thanks for getting the information to Virginia.
