Memphis org for sale

Post by Little Bear Victor » Fri Dec 21, 2007 12:50 pm

Memphis org, the only Church of Scientology in that town, that was bought in 1997 to bring together the black and the white of that community as loudly announced at an Int event with the help of Lisa-Marie and Isaac, is now on sale.

Best pick from the article:

"I've never seen a human go in there," said Peter Donovan, who manages the nearby University Club of Memphis.
A short history of the Church of David Miscavige: From the fastest growing religion in the world to the fastest shrinking cult in the world in less than 20 years.

There's another thread about that, too.

John and I toured it when I was living in Memphis that year. I thought they told me it was a mission.

They probably also told how great Lron was and about his mad skills. Just think if you had gone clear, you would have total recall and would know what they said.

Lisa Marie sold off 85% of the Elvis fortune. Maybe J. Swift is right about the rumor that she is pressured to lend or give that money to Tom Cruise. Now THERE'S a fast way to burn money. Assuming Lisa Marie loses $200,000 per movie, after five failed movies, Elvis' billion is gone. And if CoS leeches are after her for donations, she's losing money there, too. Elvis's grandchildren may never inherit his fortune.

Alternatively, real estate now suffers tight credit and sagging prices, and the Memphis org never brought in the crowds, so it's become a bore to Lisa Marie. Good - let an honest, tax-paying business bring vitality to that street in Memphis.

In 1995, Lisa Marie Presley got to study the PTS/SP Course in the President's Courseroom at Celebrity Centre International... in a private course room by herself as the only student, with a private course supervisor... the CCInt KOT (Keeper of Tech).

Just a little (true) trivia for fun.

Don Carlo made an error by leaving off a set of three zeros, which changes the order of magnitude.

Of course, that's clearly a typo. We all know Cruise's last couple of movies didn't fall $200K short of recouping the investment.... they lost something closer to $200 million.

Lisa marie is just lucky that her dad was such a talent. When the cult blows through her cash, there is hope that this little clam will see that their methods fail and she might get out.

I meant 200,000,000 per movie. Thanks for setting me straight.
