That place has been in mothballs for two years after closing, and there was no obvious work done at the entrance. Even if they have been working All Hands since June, they'd still have a long way to go.

These pictures have some of the worst Photoshopping I have seen from the cult-and that's saying something.I would think it would be glaringly obvious even to the casual reader that elements have been shopped.
Take a look at the flagpoles in those pics..don' they look a tad out of place to you?

Long rooms with low ceilings feel like cheap bowling alleys. The red-tile roofs evoke Taco Bell. I like California Mission style but this ain't it and CoS flunks utterly. One little fountain doesn't make a "resort" - it's just another piece of real estate, only warm for two months of the year, in the millions of acres of northern woods.

How does this make sense? AOLA and ASHO have crashed. I doubt they are able to cover their bills, and this will take business away from them. Canadians have already given all they can to their "Ideal Orgs", they can't pay for this. Asking Canadians to pay hundreds of millions for this scam will ensure Canadian Scientology disappears. Why is Miscavige doing this?

Because his target is the few remaining wealthy Canadian Scientologists. This boondoggle will never get built, but Miscavige expects to squeeze more money from Canadian Scientologists -- I expect he has one or two very specific families in mind who still have some money. And I expect some of them will fall for this.
