In particular to my fellow Brits, have a great day! Get those signs up: "Scientology is an Evil Brainwashing Cult"!
(Hint: Take a wipe-clean protest board & marker pen and change it on-the-fly to "Naughty Brainwasting Cult" if challenged with sec.5 public order act. or alternatively pose it as a question: "Is Scientology an Evil Brainwashing Cult?" and if you get told to take that latter sign down then it makes it look even worse for the power-tripping cops and scientology. Another good one is to ask the cops for suggestions and perhaps hand the marker pen to them (if you do then get this on video please).

There's a bakery that's quite legendary... I can't remember if it's located in LA or around the NY area, but they specialize in making unique cakes that are based on concepts, buildings and other wacky ideas. They were featured on the Food Network, "Ace of Cakes" recently (it's an ongoing series there).

In the last episode they made a human ear cake for someone wishing to thank their Dr. for restoring their hearing and some guy's GF had a cake made that was a reproduction of him with his brains being consumed by zombies (he was a horror film buff).

They'd be able to repro the Failwinds, I'm sure. The cakes can get pricey though; some of them can get up to as high as a 20 grand.

I had a great time at the Sea Arrrgh protest in Manchester today !!

Atlanta Georgia USA reporting in! We had a HUGE turn out. Huge pirate flag,s, everyone dressed up. Me included. The Police and Fire department gave use thumb,s up. I actually talked at length with the police. It was one amazing event. Scieno,s driving by motioning us to slit our throats and people flipping us the bird. Nice religion Huh! It was very hot, yet we were lucky to have a lot of cloud,s so everyone stayed cool. I had GHANDI TECH written across the back of my sailors uniform and had a Guy Fawkes mask resting on the back of my head! Gosh, the energy was amazing. All these FINE ANON,S and critic,s coming together to share knowledge and talk story.

Did i say the Police were amazing? Alot of the girls came as pirates and many of the guys too. All in all it was an EPIC WIN! I have much video of the event and will have it up soon. many pictures too. The scilon,s did not even show their faces this time. Guess they melt in the heat. Man it was great to be with the ATL crew once again. music,food,etc. I even had a great conversation with a passerby about why i protest. I was proud to come across as compassionate and knowledgeable. This is why i joined the OCMB. I gained the understanding and tools to express myself.

What more can i say. It was one of the best protests so far. We as a group have matured into a cohesive unit of peaceful protesters. I am proud to stand side by side with the younger ANON,S. It energizes me. Strengthens my resolve to stay the course! Today was a good day!

I just got back from the protest in Mountain View, CA. SO MUCH FUN!!! It was my first time protesting and the folks there were just awesome and made me feel very welcome. Seriously, anyone still on the fence about protesting, you can't be more afraid than I was and I can't begin to tell you how glad I am I went so please get out there and do what you KNOW you want to do. I'm not putting down online free speech activities but it's a whole other animal to get out there in the flesh and exercise those rights. So rewarding!

When I left there were probably around 30 people in our group, quite a few dressed as pirates. (Men should always dress as pirates, IMO. It's dead sexy. Grrrr.) Actually, there was one guy who looked so much like Johnny Depp in his pirate ensemble that I saw some girls coming up and taking his pic, etc. Great idea to have folks dressed up cuz it was obvious that it made people more curious as to why we were there.

Lots of people honked their approval as they drove by and a number of people stopped to thank us for protesting cuz they hate getting the hard sell from Scientologists whenever they walk by this CoS "storefront."

There was an OT VIII handing out dead-agent fliers about Anonymous. He wouldn't talk to anyone when they tried to communicate and instead just walked away. I can't recall his name but everyone else there seemed to know who he was so I'm sure someone else who was there will post about it. (Oh man! I wish I'd thought to ask him if he stole the copy paper for those fliers from the US Gubment. )

One disturbing thing happened. Myself, Daisy and her son were standing at the edge of the sidewalk holding up our signs when this guy driving by in a red sports car made this small but very noticeable swerve towards us and then swerved back. You know what I mean? Just a little swerve but it was right at our little group. And Daisy's son is a little boy!! I can't confirm they were Scientologists, of course, but who else would do that? I'm sorry I didn't have the presence of mind to get the make/model or anything like that. I was just so shocked.

I learned a lot today. One thing I learned is that folks have to somehow put together VERY short answers for questions like, "Why are you protesting?" If you start rambling a bunch, you've lost 'em. I saw a couple examples of protestors giving info that wasn't to the point and I could tell that the person they were talking to was not getting the answer they were looking for. They seemed to want to know two things: why the protests were happening and what the Scn beliefs are. I'm gonna work on putting together very short but strong answers to these two questions and I'll post 'em if I think I come up with anything valuable.

And one last thing:

get away, wow I am not even OT, so question why
couldn't you make me disappear? Puff... better yet
why couldn't you mind meld and star trek your cultness
to the other side of the street? I ponder...
They turned and walked away when I told them that $cientology
ruined my life for 30 years and yeah I am responsible for
falling for this clap trap. They left with not very good confront
skills.

And as far as that jerk that tried to hit my Sister, Almond Joy
and my Nephew, next time you ever threaten any of us
again I swear I will make sure I get your license plate
and with that many witnesses your ass is mine. BTW you
misogynist coward, you got to pick on women and little
kids. All you did is makes us more determined, see you
at the next protest you piss ant.

Hey, Scout, did I meet you today? I think I did. You and your sis are super cool people and you're the first from this site I've met so I've made a great start.

More than once today I talked to people who'd been in Scientology and they all made mention of having fallen for the BS, as if it was their fault. And here is another example of that above. This breaks my heart. The truth, IMO, is that the CoS is so good at deception and manipulation that NO ONE should blame themselves for getting caught in that trap.

Please...to all the ex-Scientologists, I'm an outsider and have never been in Scientology but I've read books about cults and one thing I know for sure is IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT. If anything, you were idealistic and trusting and THOSE ARE NOT BAD THINGS. They are just things that are taken advantage of by the DESTRUCTIVE CULT that is the "CHURCH" of SCIENTOLOGY. The CoS is good at what they do and they did it to you. IMO, IT IS ALL THEIR FAULT--NOT YOURS.
