Los Angeles - PAC New Year's Day

Scientology's LA PAC Base had an open house for New Year's Day 2011

On the patio of the Pacifica Cafe, live musicians from Golden Era Productions played.

Outside ASHO we celebrated the first amendment and reminded Scientology of their need to stop breaking up families with their suppressive policies.

They had contract security on site. He was a nice guy despite his initial suspicions.

Outside AOLA, a helpful sign tells people the space above is possessed by one lone pigeon, or perhaps they should just check their grammar before posting a sign.

A PAC security guard, an OT committee member and their contact security keep a watchful eye.

On our way out we noticed the old Bridge Publications building is now an IAS storefront, another illustration of their greater emphasis on extracting large donations from their members.

Great photos. I like your signs, too.

Also, a man poked his head out from the front door of a rooming house and said, "You are all a bunch of degraded beings!" "Actually, I have total freedom", I replied. As he ducked back into the dark hallway and closed the door I added, "Hiding in a dark hallway is not exactly high tone."

Why the pigeon problem? Did someone shoot the hawk that was shitting on their cross?

LOL. Pigeons have special crapping hours now? Sorry, I missed out on the fun. My neighbor, a KTLA producer, fetched me & a friend free tickets to the Rose Bowl game today. College crowd was fun but I froze my tooty off.

How many people showed up for the Open House?

An Open House in one the most populous cities in the world, a capitol of Scientology and the place looks deserted!?! This is the Worlds Fastest Growing Religion?!?!
