@glib; I don't really know. I live on the other side of the country, but I'll try to ask around a little bit.

A couple of years ago, when I used to visit Amsterdam on a fairly regular basis, they were quite active, offering personality tests and selling books on the street, but I don't know what they are doing right now. I'll get back on this.

Just visited the site of the Amsterdam church, which is not http://www.scientology.nl. That's just the international site translated in Dutch. To get to the church itself, this is the link: http://www.scientologykerk.nl/

There I found this new posting:
02 FEB 2011

Scientology organiseert open huis

Rondleidingen
Open huis zondagsdienst (11:30 uur)
Interreligieuze Dialoog (12:45 uur)
Films over de activiteiten van Scientology
Praktische informatie:
Tijd: Van 11:00 uur tot 18:00 uur
Locatie: Scientology Kerk Amsterdam, Niewezijds Voorburgwal 116-118 (10 minuten lopen van Amsterdam Centraal station)
Toegang: Gratis
Translated in English: Scientology organizes an open house. A lot is being said and written about it, but what is Scientology in reality?

On Sunday February 13 the Scientology Church organizes an open house. Coffee will be ready at 11.00 AM, and everybody is welcome to come and see what a Scientology sunday service is like, what Scientology really is and to get a tour through our church.

-Lectures are given about what Scientology is and what it does in society.
-We give guided tours
-Open House Sunday Service (start 11.30)
-Inter-religious dialogue (start 12.45)
-Movies about the activities of the Scientology Church

Practical information:
Time: from 11.00 AM to 18.00 PM
Location: Scientology Church Amsterdam, Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 116-118 (10 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station)
Entrance is free. free??? No way

Anyway, everybody is invited, even anonymous persons.

Funny thing is that this web-site has been down for months. Apparently they've got a new recrute that knows how to handle computers. It still doesn't look as sophisticated as the international thing, but they're Dutch, it should not cost too much.
The re-appearance of this local site might show some progress in the activity of this Org. I'll keep an eye open for it.
