Chuck B., I couldn’t agree more! The single smartest thing that Miscavige and official Scientology could do for CoS’s public image would be to immediately cease ALL harassment of Scn critics. Withdraw all complaints against Keith Henson, stop harassing Graham Berry, call off the PIs, don’t sue anyone, take down the wacky websites that label critics as "bigots" or "criminals." Let people wander around outside the orgs with picket signs – bring them cups of tea! The public would perceive the church as confident, magnanimous and "above it all" - and the critics as possibly slightly loony. But when CoS goes after critics, in the public’s eyes it validates all that the critics are saying about CoS; it makes the church look weak and desperate.

This is so simple! You’d think they’d figure it out. And maybe they would, if they weren’t trapped in LRH’s us-versus-them, "always attack" mindset.

There is no such thing as “irrational fear” of Scientology. It is a vindictive, powerful, agency, that attacks proponents of rational thinking under the protection of religious shelters. It is greatly to be feared.

Do you know Graham Berry (the Lawyer) at all? Maybe you could call him and give him the news about Keith Henson. I know Graham popped up recently asking for info for something he was doing re scientology so I think he may be interested in these developments at least in so far as to offer some kind of distant advice and professional research for free perhaps.
