More data. I picked through the thread and picked out the relevant bits (there are several interspersed conversations going on).

There was something odd enough about the attorney letters and I thought about it a moment. This is what I come up with.

The CofS photographs someone's license plate who was at the Feb 10th protests. They find out to whom the car is registered. They find out enough about this family to find out there are parents and driving-age children.

The CofS attorneys address a letter to the FATHER of the family and implicate "a child or relative of yours" (trying to remain vague). However, they somehow knew TO WHICH ADDRESS the car was registered to, and they know it's not the FATHER -- CofS would not have written to FATHER if they thought he was the protestor.

So they must know to whom the car is registered while trying to appear to the father that they don't really know that detailed of information. Perhaps knowing that much would be "too much", so they draft their attorney letter a little vague, like they don't really know.

I'm not a PI and so don't know the rules of how much I'd be "allowed" to legally find out.

This really seems weird to me.

The Sheriff's department wouldn't be involved because they were not 'served' anything from the courts.

They are being vague so they don't get sued for libel or slander, but they could report it to the police for harassment and stalking.

They made PACKAGING for the DVD? And labels? WTF????

Man, if they're so worried about everything, why go full-blown PR agency overblown drama BS that anyone with half a brain can see through?

Time for us to contact the US DoJ to request an investigation into F. Wallace Pope, Esq. alleging Civil Rights violations, to wit, intimidating a minor and the minor's parents in an attempt to shudder said minor into silence, thereby depriving the minor of his Constitutional rights to peaceably assemble with others. The US DoJ can also be asked to investigate how F. Wallace Pope and his firm obtained the registered owner's name of the vehicle in this case.

F. Wallace Pope's letter can be argued to be Fair Game based upon the historical actions of The Church of Scientology. Further, a subpoena can be requested to determine if the law firm of Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel, & Burns LLP is engaging in a conspiracy with its client CoS to shudder the members of Anonymous into silence. There appear to be elements of libel in F. Wallace Pope's letter to the minor's parents.

In addition to the US DoJ investigating Civil Rights violations, we can request the ACLU, or another law firm, to consider filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of the class collectively known as Anonymous. Such a suit should specifically name David Miscavige, Eliot Abelson, the legal firm of Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel, & Burns LLP as well as the Estate of L. Ron Hubbard, CST, RTC, Heber Jentzsch and other to be named defendants. The lawsuit should ask for billions of dollars in damages against the defendants.

They have resorted to this because there is no police report, arrest report....or some tangible proof that a specific person from anonymous has been directly linked to a specific crime. They would have filed criminal charges. Not some letter that says your child should stop being naughty.

The problem is that the COS's pockets are deep, and it's very hard to fight them legally by yourself. There just has to be a way.....

In a case like this, I don't ask what a retrograde opponent COULD do, I ask what the retrograde opponent CAN do because of what they HAVE done.

This type of analysis model is apt due to the unusual fact that the combative party in question is topologically inside out and pathologically stuck on stupid.

CoS HAS/CAN via their facilities print up a couple thousand DVDs
- Prior: Did so to counter the BBC Panarama documentary.
- Result: Made things worse for CoS.
- Conclusion: They're going to do it again.

Davy, RTC, and various deluded associates are doing what they CAN do and HAVE done.

Even though they KNOW it not only failed before, but made things worse.

I guess we'll have to sit through a big issuing of these DVD far and wide, followed by a massive destruction of the ones not distributed in a wild conniption of fail.

But...at least they can say the stats from producing, printing, and sleeving all those spiffy DVD was/is really, really win!

In distributing the DVD, they've just given themselves a MASSIVE FOOTBULLET. The original source of the "bomb threat video" that they were claiming was issued by Anonymous. What it reveals is that the copy on the DVD is hi-definition. If Anonymous had issued that video, it would only be able to rendered on the DVD with the compression enforced on uploaded videos for YouTube consumption. Look at the data on the bottom of the screencap, ESPECIALLY the aspect ratio... it's obviosly NOT YouTube sourced (that is, not downloaded/ripped from YouTube):

We've been wondering about this since the Scilons tried to ram those injunctions up the ass of the courts and supplying them with this DVD as "evidence", but no one had access to the original raw data video to do the comparison of the data, and how could Scientology have a HI-DEF version of the video unless a) they raided and took the original file from the creator's computer (HIGHLY unlikely) or b)MADE IT THEMSELVES

Not only has Scientology come into the living room of Anonymous, they've taken a big, steaming dump on the Persian carpet, and Anonymous is NOT pleased.

F. Wallace Pope Jr's misleading letter assumes facts not in evidence: Anonymous has never been proven by any court to be a hate group. If phony "Sheriffs" are being used; if these letters travel by US mail across state lines; and if a court determines these letters to be threats, we can look for Mr. Pope et al to be indicted on Federal charges, hopefully RICO charges.

I hope that Mr. Pope and Mr. Miscavige realize what they may have gotten themselves into here. The backlash will be huge.

And, (ahem) reporters are most fond of an item when you hand them a story with the research all done and presented. The story already written and researched is the story they love to run with. Come to think of it, so do DAs and special prosecutors.

The person who dropped off the DVD and "legal papers" claimed to represent the Sherrif's department... but it appears no papers were served. As Swift pointed out, there's high probability of impersonation of a Sherrif... If that was instigate, aided and abetted by the law firm itself...
