Adolf Hitler and David Miscavige

Post by doodledoo » Thu Oct 10, 2013 5:28 pm

I'm here in California and have seen the Scientology buildings too many times.
I came across OC in the early 2000s and it confirmed my opinions based on my chance encounters with Scientology.

I posted on a different board
http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf237711-0-15.html
I have to warn when someone is contemplating joining something as evil as Scientology.
It is sure different now, Scientology looks like it is really on the ropes.
I think it is very safe to say Scientology has lost the internet battle.
And wow so much stuff on Scientology, it is so amazing.

Anyways,
Hey,
Adolf Hitler and David Miscavige.
I know the whole world equates everything evil with Adolf Hitler.
But that is not my point. It is to try to guess what Miscavage might do in the future. It looks like Miscavage and Hitler have a lot of similarities. They have a similar obsessive-compulsive maladjusted temperament. And the world they created around themselves is very similar. What will Miscavage do under great pressure in the face of certain defeat? What will happen to Scientology as things go badly on all fronts?

I present "Inside the Mind of Adolf Hitler" - Hitler was profiled in late 1942, at that time he seemed unstoppable.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1W8I8uoVPo

One of the things that was predicted was if things went bad for Germany Hitler would become more and more reclusive. The opposite of Winston Churchill. And it would end with Hitler ending his own life.

This brings to mind one more question, is it better to leave Miscavage in place be because he is helping so much to end Scientology all the more faster?

PS. Thanks OC for the years of good work in fighting the disease known as Scientology.

Welcome, but geez, Godwin's Law* on your first post? This Hitler-Miscavige comparison has been made repeatedly over the 15 years I've read critic sites, so yes, it has occurred to the critic community. I do agree that Miscavige might commit suicide rather than go from control-freak villain to handcuffed perp.

Yea your right, it was a little lazy of me. Of coarse I am an outsider. I am guessing this has been beat to death in the past.

Geir Isene on Scientology. This really seems a much better description.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7QOAUcqyYc

I was looking at AngryGayPope's photos of Twin Peaks and the Gold base, I have drove past those places so many times. You can literally see the corrosion Geir mentions, many of those cam lenses and communication stuff is very old and of coarse lots of physical corrosion. Some of the cam lenses are decades old. It seems to match the internal condition of Scientology.

Hi doodledoo

Welcome to OCMB.

Personally I think you're right that Miscavige does more good than harm in the long run (because he does so much harm in the short run).

Doodledoo, good point about the corroded equipment. Many staff who would have known to take care of tools and equipment, have quit or been driven out. Many in charge now are second-generation Sea Org who grew up in the Thursday-stats-are-everything mentality, and may not even understand that rust isn't just "dirt" to be wiped off.

True also, that Miscavige is CoS's worst enemy. But I still look forward to his fall from power.

But wouldn't be so much more satisfying seeing DM being dragged out in irons (and vertical) as opposed to horizontal, within a cheap pine box?

Hi, doodledoo. Welcome to the Bake.

I think with regard to cults Godwin's Law is a disservice.

When Adolf Hitler, the National Socialist German Workers' Party, and the Third Reich are looked at with cult attributes in mind, the questions that have been asked as to how he managed to do what he did and how the German people, who produced Mozart and Beethoven, could have been duped by him -- those questions begin to be answered.

I have no doubt at all that Adolf Hitler was a cult leader, as described in chapter five of Captive Hearts Captive Minds. Having said that I think that it may not be all that useful to use Hitler as a comparison with David Miscavige to predict what David Miscavige's behavior might be. Mind you there are several examples of cults becoming self destructive at the orders of their leaders when the going got tough for them. I sincerely hope that David Miscavige never inflicts that on Scientology.

I think Marty said something once about the possibility of a Waco at Int Base.

I don't think that DM will ever commit suicide, which is the defference between him and Hitler. but their presonalities have a lot in common.

I wouldn't mind seeing him dragged out in irons and then committing suicide when in prison.

I am just giving out some of my thoughts on this, I could be dead wrong.

My initial thought was Joseph Goebbels but he is much the same as Adolph.

L Ron is different, not the same as Miscavage.

Agreed the NSDAP was structure like a cult. Also NSDAP and Scientology were created under very different conditions, the thing of interest to me is the similarities of the people Miscavage and Goebbels.

Speaking of CoS's anti psychology doctrine. In my opinion L. Ron was a natural psychologist, it is his strongest point. I will draw parallel to an auto mechanic, someone who is a natural at that. But this mechanic wants to run a scam on his customers. He sees that his customers would not know the difference between a light bulb and a muffler bearing or his favorite changing the spark plug oil. So he tells his customers all auto mechanics are evil and bad. It is easy to see why he would do this, most other mechanics would quickly reveal his scam. Its the same with L Ron.

Miscavage has been on a destructive spree already. The progressively worsening punishments for the sea.org staff. From what I have read is it not that the operating core of Scientology? I know this stuff is just my opinion, I am hoping I can give someone a little more edge over this evil.

Miscavage has inherited a Frankenstein value system created by a willfully evil man. This value system is socially unacceptable pretty much everywhere on earth and has many fatal flaws to its own existence. He is so attuned to what is socially accepted or expected that he is unable to assess whether something is "right" or "wrong" outside of what Scientology expects.

Miscavage's temperament is a female one. He can be quick tempered and quick to cool, sort of like a bubbling kettle. He can be extremely sensitive to conflict, with a tendency to sweep things under the rug as an avoidance tactic, can get hurt and disappointed very easily. His sharply defined value systems makes him unbending in some areas.

Miscavage may not trust traditional medicine and may resort to some completely wacky medical methods. It is a very and very sad spectacle when he is sick, it just cant be a simple head cold. Give him a medical dictionary for amusement.

Also plenty of "faux pas" from Miscavage in the coming months.

Here is another Miscavage type character Nikolai Yezhov also known as the bloody dwarf.
He was the head of the NKVD and implemented Stalin's great purge.

Some parallels,
They are both dwarfs
Yezhov created special GULAGS for the execution of political prisoners. Miscavage created the Hole.
Yezhov really enjoyed making people suffer. Miscavage routinely personally hits and beats people for no reason.
When Yezhov knew his time was up he became a hopeless drunk. Misavage is already has a taste for booze maybe he will try to escape into booze if it looks like his end is coming (maybe multiple criminal prosecutions).
