Graham Berry, who has attended a couple of the Scientology discussions in Hamburg that were arranged by cult-fighter Ursula Caberta said this on WWP:

http://forums.whyweprotest.net/threads/ ... any.69241/

Quote:
News from 'you know who' in Germany this morning: Of the aprrox. 6,000 hard core corporate Scientologists in Germany over 50 have left in the last 4 weeks. Other German scientologists are receiving calls from FLAG, Scotland and other countries to 'reg' them for books and courses. Usually the 'regging' calls are local. Staff are leaving the Munich and Berlin Orgs. Meanwhile Ursula Caberta's political party (the Social Democrats or SDP) swept the Hamburg state and city elections last weekend and will govern without needing to enter into a coalition with the Scientology-friendly Green Party. One night last week the Hamburg Org lights were all out and the building empty at 6 PM. Usually the place is lit up late. IMHO the next 'educational' targets should be WISE companies and Narconon. Those are two main financial lines left, except for the celebrities and a few other IAS big donors.

Germany has over 80 million inhabitants, so 6000 scientologists isn't that much. Less than 0,0075% of the total population. Sounds possible.

It may be the fastest growing religion in the world, it sure isn't the largest religious community in Germany

The discussion on this thread reminds me of this, which is not an exact quote:

"In the German orgs they say, 'Ve do vhat Ron sayss!'"

I'm not going to say who said it but I'll give you a clue. They were about three degrees of L. Ron Hubbard.

They don't and never have. It has always been the cult's policy to count everyone that has visited the orgs out of curiosity, answered an ad, purchased a book, and asked to be on their mailing list - as members. They do this worldwide. I still get some of their shit in the mail, so I'm still counted as a member in the U.S.

The way things are going for them you might soon be at the top of the list as one of their most active members. There are more ex-SP members than current culties from the looks of it.

I was WONDERING if the Co$ counted (former Scientologist) SP's among their current members! I'm betting as much: if for no other reason, because their record keeping appears to be phenomenally disorganized.

PS: Wieber, another clue, please!

My comment was an interjection that was basically trivial and irrelevant to this thread.

There is a story related to it that I haven't told, and which is also more irrelevant to this thread, because it's too specific to time and place and it has some well known higher ups in it. Too bad but I'm holding on to it. Carry on.

In a certain European city square they used to put the stress test/book selling table far enough out in to the sidewalk that there was room for people to walk behind it. Then they counted everyone who walked between the table and the building as BIS (Bodies in the Shop). Maybe Billy L. is lurking here and can tell us all about this?

I'm pretty sure that a stunt like that would not fly, beyond thinking of it, at the org where I was a staff member. New People In (NPI) was, I believe, department sixteen's stat, when division six had three departments. Even for me, as an ex, that's really lame.
