Do Not Use 1-800-Ex-Sea-Org. Scientology owns the number now.

Karen#1 posted this in another thread. I have copied and pasted it into a separate thread to make it more visible. I think it's important this gets more visibility.

Mark Plummer posted a good alert that we should all know about.
Chuck Beatty for many years paid for an 800 number for escapees to call "I-800-Ex-Sea-Org.
Some 3 years ago he dropped the tel line. Now apparently OSA the black bag operation of the cult that does that programs intelligence hit squad activity and their obscene hate pages, now owns the line.
So if anyone calls the number, they get right into the teeth of Office of Special Affairs.

I'm going to call this number just for fun.

Why am I not surprised?

I called this number. It is not OSA. They offered me a free trip to Bahamas and a free medical alert device. The number itself is kind of weird -- it has 8 digits instead of 7.

First of all, the number that Chuck Beatty supported (and I also helped pay for for many years) was 1.800.XSEAORG.

I just call the number and it's some sort of medical alert scammy sounding recording, offering a free trip and medical alert.

Didn't sound OSAish to me.

Then it looks like I have been misinformed and there is no cause for any alarm.

People whine at me that in my videos I mock sea orgers without offering them a way out. What am I supposed to do? Send them to a halfway house run by Karen DLC? There is no such thing and she is doing enough as it is!

Sorry I'm not going to let ex-scis freak out while sleeping on my couch.

Sadly, there is no longer an underground railroad to get these people out.

There's more to getting cult members out of a cult than getting them physically out of contact with the organization.

I would argue that those who go back were not really out.

To everyone who has acted to get people out of Scientology, whether successful or not, what you have done is praiseworthy.
