Anyone know if Elron was familiar with Lovecraft? There's space opera/horror there...

In all the stuff I read or listened to he never mentioned it. Having said that he did have a reputation for being extremely well read.

I have started 'reading' Philadelphia Doctorate and 8-8008, and I am immediately reminded of the first line of Lovecraft's 'Call Of Cthulhu', "The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents."
