Naturally.... count on the weasel Mike Rinder to rewrite history in the manner HE wants it to be portrayed so he comes out looking like the white knight. His comments about Elliot Abelson is pure bullshit.

If Mark Bunker lets this interview with Mike Rinder stand...unchallenged... there will be serious questions to the integrity of the film.

Smurfette, maybe you can clarify what you mean, as I am not that aware of the history of all of this. I see this as a good disclosure that CoS controlled the work of the PI's, not some Scientology lawyer. How is this disclosure a bad thing? And why do you doubt its veracity?

Google is your friend. I'm not a history teacher. Scientology has a decades long history of crimes & actions that hurt a hell of a lot of people.. Mike Rinder was the head of the international intelligence division that put all these criminal acts into play and saw them through to completion.

Now, he's out from under David Miscavige's control and wants to play the victim card and hopes that over time, if he avoids the questions & the repeated calls by many for him to lay it all out on the line to law enforcement authorities long enough, that help people will forget or become disinterested in his direct role and collusion in criminal acts. He & Marty play the 'Nuremberg defense' card.

"The Nuremberg Defense refers to a legal strategy employed by many of the defendants at the Nuremberg war crimes trials. These trials were meant to punish German perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the Second World War. Many of those defendants claimed that they were not guilty of the charges against them as they were "only following orders." Adolf Eichmann, the architect of the Holocaust, used this defense at his trial."

It boggles the mind that some critics, especially Mark Bunker (who was arrested several times & tormented at the behest of Mike Rinder) would now all of a sudden want to sing Kumbayah and so easily forget the past.

Ask Caroline or Gerry Armstrong about the role Mike Rinder played in Scientology crimes. I suspect they are not so willing to sing Kumbayah.

I personally, do not forgive Mike Rinder or Marty Rathbun of crimes committed as a result of cult indoctrination.There is some point in your life that YOU have to say this is not right. How long does it have to sink in that what you are doing is not right?

Going fishing and relating your time in the cult dosen't cut it, reporting mild attacks of peddelows and golf carts stalking you doesen't cut it. Mike Rinder is a pathetic coward. It's sad.. given Mark Bunker's extensive knowledge of Mike's past crimes.. that he's willing to give him a voice on subjects that only Mike approves of speaking on... as far as his own criminal culpability.. forget it. Easier for him to blame it all on Miscavige.
